Don't outline the actual lips too much bc it won't look like the exact pic if you do it too much since its beauty only actually shows once you finish shading it :))) That's what I can say Idk if it made sense tho bc I can't put my thoughts into words well 🍪💕
Completely outline them would be a no no. Slowly shade from the base, and then build up the shape. I'm not good at explaining, so I'm hoping this makes sense ^^' I recommend using shapes to help eye-ball the shape.

Oh, this is amazing! A few tips from another artist who draws realism: try using a tortillion or a stump instead of the brush, you can do these in your house, with a sheet of paper. :) And our hands usually get all grey while we draw, so I use a sheet of paper bent in half, to place my hand over it and avoid getting my hand dirty and messing the drawing. :) Hope it was useful, and loved your job! ♥
