I use a reclaimed vibrator from an old baby swing to deliberately add *dither* to the powder drop for more consistency in powder throw.

I know this might get buried but what case feeder tube did you use from the Dillion to the rollsizer?

I reload 22lr. The factories use a machine to crimp and cannelure 22lr cartridges that is VERY similar to this machine. The crimping machine has a blade and a knurler on it but other than that it is exactly the same design. I have learned a bit of machining in order to make the dies and tools for reloading 22lr. I use a collet type crimper now...a modified Lee Collet crimper. Been trying to make myself a crimper similar to the case pro 1000 but lack the skills. Sigh.

How much do you save per round reloading 22LR? At the price point of these machines it'll be a long while before you break even let alone start saving money.

    Hi, two questions:
After brass are processed by Rollsizer, still need a resizing DIE?
On the other side, when reloading 9mm few cartidges don't fit in the cartidge comprobator. The solution I use is use the LEE Factory Crimp DIE in those cartidges. After using this DIE, the rounds fits perfectly in the cartidge comprobator and in my gun chamber. Seems that Rollsizer do to the same that LEE Factory crimp DIE, but before start reloading process... so why is rollsizer a better solution?
Note that I'm writting from Spain, where reloading is not as normal as in EEUU and where we don't have access to a lot of reload stuff as well as we are very limited in the number of primers/powder we can buy.
I'm reloading 1200-1500 rounds per month.
    Kind regards.

The Lee die is good but is still limited to what normal dies can do. They cannot full length size cases, no dies can. The rollsizers work on the bottom 1/4" of the case immediately above the extractor groove. This is the part the sizing dies cannot reach and is the cause of most chambering problems. The rollsizer brings this back to a mid range factory size AND forces the base concentric to the rim. This last issue is VERY hard to pick with gauges but is a major cause of failure to go into battery. Pm me if you need this explained further. It is a very complex issue.
You still need to size cases as the upper part of the case behaves like an open can and can only be sized by a circular die. The standard Dillon dies work perfectly fine with rollsizing. No need for a FCD.
We found adding a FCD after rollsizing resulted in more coke bottle in the middle of the case. That will compromise magazine and feeding reliability.

@@rollsizer5623 Thank you very much for your detailed answer, very clear. So even if I don’t reload a lot of rounds per month it worth have a rollsizer as the 100% of my bullets will fit OK in my gun chamber at the first try.
It is true that actually, few of my rounds even after going trough LEE DIE don’t fit in my chamber and I had to rebuild the cartidge again and this is time consuming.
I think manual rollersizer is enought for the brass I reload per month

@Tex-cf2zl it's a surprisingly complex issue. The rollsizer.com machines all do the same thing but it comes down to time and duration of how long it will take to process your batch (whether it is 500 or 5,000 cases)

Seriously, $1063 to add a motor to a $1162 machine? Shooting sports puts the most absurd prices on the simplest of machines.

The DC rollsizer is $1200USD delivered with a pistol conversion, the Manual rollsizer (probably the closest to a Casepro) is $699USD delivered, i think we have offerred an excellent product at a fair price.

Just loaded 1k 9 mm the other day dillon 750. Every one of them fit in my 9mm case gauge just fine. Just carbide dies. Don't waste your money. But if you enjoy the hobby. Spend it.

its not required for everyone but if you get a blown case mixed in from a loose chamber hen you will have problems. Reliability wins matches.
