The fifth-generation Ford Mondeo, produced by Ford in collaboration with Changan Ford in China since 2022, is a remarkable sedan with impressive features.
Under the hood, the Mondeo offers two gasoline engine options: a 1.5 L Ecoboost turbo I4 and a more powerful 2.0 L CAF488WQC Ecoboost turbo I4. These engines deliver robust power outputs, with the 1.5L variant providing 181 PS (133 kW; 179 hp) and the 2.0L variant offering an impressive 238 PS (175 kW; 235 hp). The car's performance is further enhanced by the availability of both 6-speed automatic and 8-speed 8F-Series automatic transmissions.
In terms of dimensions, the Mondeo showcases a well-designed profile. It features a wheelbase of 285.0 cm (112.2 in), a length of 487.1 cm (191.77 in), a width of 185.2 cm (72.91 in), and a height of 148.2 cm (58.35 in). The front axle measures 159.9 cm (62.95 in), while the rear axle spans 159.5 cm (62.8 in). The car maintains a ground clearance of 12.8 cm (5.04 in), easily navigating various terrains.
Furthermore, the Mondeo showcases its versatility by offering a maximum towing capacity of 1650 Kg (3638 lbs), making it well-suited for various hauling needs. With its blend of performance, design, and functionality, the fifth-generation Ford Mondeo stands as a testament to the ongoing innovation in the automotive industry.

Ford, get this on sale in the UK, I own a Mondeo mk5 and would love to replace with this as some of us don't want SUVs or EVs we just want a traditional family car and for me the Mondeo is just that
It was the best Ford I’ve ever owned. To upgrade to a new car, I bought a Kuga, but I miss my Mondie. I hate the Mach-E and I don’t understand why they discontinued the Mondeo. Ford need to shape up!

They think everybody wants a stupid SUV nowadays... every friend told me they hate and would never buy SUVs, out of all family members (and I have a pretty big family) nobody owns nor plans to own a SUV, so I don't understand how are they doing their market research. Maybe they think EU is the same as USA or idk...

I've had 3 Mondeo's, 2 of them estate's and loved every one of them but couldn't find one that matched my last one which was kindly written off for me by a Twat in an SUV so I got myself a Jagur xf which is a much better drive but no where near as practical. The new Mondeo is stunning they really need to bring it to the UK I would happily have another especially an estate.
Currently own a mk5 mondeo and Love it. I would have definitely replaced it with this its such a shame this is not coming to Europe 😢

A much better looking option to the current bunch of budget electric vehicles.
I have a Mark 4 Mondeo Edge 2 litre which replaced my Mark 1 that I had for 20 good trouble free years. Boot like a skip, spacious interior , excellent to drive and cherished plate. My pride and joy.

I'm angry that this is available in China and not here in the US.
It's also available in the fucking Middle East as the Taurus.
Having spoken to people who work for Ford on their product development team, I can say Ford is considering bringing this. They might even convert it to RWD, throw a V8 in it, and sell it as a mustang sedan in the states.

We still have a perfect STLine mk5 only does 1000miles per year, wont sell it, would love one of these, we absolutely love the mk5 and now its starting to look unique because of all the SUVs on the road

Why isn't this vehicle in the states? Flat Rock needs another vehicle to assemble and this sedan would fit the bill. Ford dealers want a sharp sedan to sell.

It surely makes a difference bro. When you have 200HP on stock and the ST gives you a 50 HP plus and a sport design, It's a change... If i wanted to go radically sports, I would have asked for an RS...
@@morganrees3498it doesn’t have an ST model. There’s an ST Line trim package but that only changes cosmetic things like the seats and the steering wheel.

We are lied to on the Middle East, having this called the Taurus and sold with half these features for a pricy "full option". The screen alone is half that size, and don't get me started on the lack of buttons.
