- We caught the first 710 horsepower Ferrari F8 Spider leaving the HR Owen Ferrari dealership in Mayfair, London this evening. The car features a turbocharged 3.9-litre V8 and the engine weighs 40 pounds less than its predecessor, the equally brilliant 488 Spider. One of the most beautiful current supercars?

Beautiful indeed. They're making too many Ferraris right now (have any F8 coupes been delivered yet?), but it still looks and sounds killer. Can't wait to see the SF90.

That roof mechanism is loud af.
According to a famous car spotter it is not an issue because the car is not Rolls or Bentley like in comfort. That was his argument. To me you pay same amount of money and you can't even have silent roof mechanism. Even the public toilet door that is free is more silent than this. People with money can justify their stupid acceptability to flaws like this just because the guy who can't afford to pay for it pointed it out. And then comes the attention to detail. What detail? That color? That active wing? The detail of having a quiet opening roof is far less important. I bet the DIY universal mount hydraulics from Aliexpress are far more silent than this.🤣🤣

@Andrei Andrei2 I think the F8 should have been a new design, new interior. There's nothing wow about this car. It's basically a mid life cycle of the 488 and the 488 was a mid life cycle of the 458. Ferrari is getting lazy since they went public.

They already explained why Ferrari did not innovate in a different vehicle, and it was because they are working on more important models, one was the SF90 Stradale and the next ones are the new model with Hybrid V6 engine and the V12 SUV.

@@HG504X yes that's fair because the chassis is from 2014, it's made of aluminium, the car weights 100 kg more than the Mclaren 720s ;) the Mclaren CARBONIUM chassis came out in the late 2017, the car is 100 kg lighter, and the car probably produces more than 720 hp. Plus the Ferrari does not have massive rear wings, the aero is effective but you can barely see it and the tyres are slightly stickier. The cup2 are slightly stickier than the Corsa, the cup2r are slightly stickier than the the Trofeo R. The Pista with the cup2 destroyed the Mclaren with the Corsa (ex. Vairano ) and with the cup2r it destroyed the Mclaren press car with Trofeo R by 3 seconds (see Magny Cours). In 10 tracks the Ferrari won each time despite being significantly heavier, having an older platform, and being slower on a straight line. This just shows that the car has a better handling and all the reviews have confirmed that. Will the 750lt be faster than the Pista? Totally. But for now the Pista is the better sport car

I think 488 looks the best, because it's a better version of 458. F8 Tributo looks like some concept Honda, I don't like it at all
