Just my two cents - Zip tie 1/2 inch PVC onto each of the trees and canes and then just slide it over a 2 foot piece of rebar - for me it makes it easier to put out and take up these props and holds them sturdy. Great job on the walk through and display - really like the NSR trees - may have to upgrade this year!
I make my arches with PVC tubing, cap them, fill them with baked sand from my oven at 400 degrees for an hour, then fill the tubes, then easily bend into an arch using my template, then when they cool take out sand
The tree and star combine for 200 pixels. The trees in this video I have two strands of 100 pixels. You can tell the software that the tree is 150 pixels and star is 50 regardless of the strand count. It sees pixel 101 regardless if it is a new strand of one long strand of 200. Currently, I only purchase 50 count strands for ease of use. Less waste.
Snow is not a worry for us in NC. But for some folks, they will elevate the ground props 12"-18" if needed. Typically the connections are water proof and still work in rain and snow. Thanks for watching
When I insert the Medium NSR into Xlights it does not have the star. Did you have this problem and what was the work around? Nice video thanks for posting.
This is what is was in but it was a little too tight for me. It replaced an F4 I had in there. Hi wonder if you could help me regarding this , I'm using 18awg from power supply to controller and 18awg to pixels , was not sure if i should go lower awg from power supply to controller , i gather 18awg is fine for pixels but was not sure if i needed to go say 12awg or 14awg from power supply to controller , any help welcome .
I like your trees and candy canes!

Great idea! Thanks for watching.
I agree. This is how I did my canes and singing bulbs. Plus I ran a horizontal line across then to stakes to minimize twisting
i pass my pixel inside the pex look great at night yours are great also and i put steel pipe in ground to hold them up
Thanks for watching.
Where did you get the trees from? I can’t find them on boscoyo

Also, your prices on website are insane! lol Is the old school ez pack really $4300? I calculated parts and came to $983 in my shopping cart.
How did you wire your NSR trees? A 200 count strand of pixels? Or 150 for the tree and 50 for the star?
Love the show! Do you use 12v nodes or 5v?
12v
What paint and colors did you use for the trees? How did you prep the coro for painting?
Paint is a simple all-purpose spray paint. Only prep besides taping was light sanding. Pretty easy.
In Brazil it is not common to decorate houses on festive occasions! I would like to do this type of decoration! Could you help me?
For the candy canes, you don't need to cut. Just designate 1 a null pixel
How do you do that?
It's part of wled settings I believe if that's what is being used.
Did you use 200 nodes for the tree, or break it down 150 for the tree and 50 for the star or is the programming able to break them out? TIA

How do you guys deal with the snow buildup though? like, you put all this down and get 3ft to 6ft of snow? How do you go out and re-arrange it? :O

Use the native star model in XL. Give it two rows: 30, 20. Then you can group the stars together, trees and stars and trees no stars. Hope this helps.
@@StevePetrucci Thank-you
What’s the box you’re using behind the trees and candy canes (holding the k8) ? Looks like the perfect size to hold a power supply and controller

I use 12 awg from PSU to controller. Thanks for watching.
These look like twinkly lights, are they?
No they are not. They are RGB pixels.
Yo dude, the Fm transmitter link is not working you think you could put a new one?
Thanks for letting me. Updated description for this: magicallightshows.com/collections/products/products/fm-transmitter-with-option-outdoor-enclosure
