I didn't know him personally, but listening to him sing and talk on a couple of interviews showed he was an intelligent, educated, caring, hard-working, and lovable man. The news of his death hurts just as much. His voice made me want to visit the hospital he was working at just so he could sing to me. This is so sad!!! He had such a gentle spirit and warm heart. I know this won't bring any peace to his family, but he is one of God's Angels now. It's always the good die young. My condolences to his family. I'll keep praying for them.
