You may have never heard of an energizer, but it is important that you use this train-the trainer technique. Energizers get people excited and engaged in training, and they are often used after breaks when participants are more sluggish.
In order for energizers to be used effectively, they should do two things:
    1) Keep the participants' minds engaged
    2) Keep the participants' bodies engaged
A third and optional train-the-trainer technique that you can work into an energizer is to combine it with a revisiter. A revisiter is like a review activity, but it differs in one key element. When a trainer is reviewing something, they go over the information a second time. When participants revisit information, they review the material on their own terms. By combining these two train-the-trainer techniques you can keep your audience engaged and reinforce previous learning.
