The audio at the beginning is crappy (My micro was positioned in a weird way, I only noticed it while at home sadly) but is only for the first 20 second. ;-)
Great advice Federico, I particularly agree about safety. Never compromise, if you don't have to - and even then think twice!
Now this will invite all the martial arts "purists" telling us how we must accept risks because we are training combat techniques after all. I've heard that a lot.
While that isn't untrue in and of itself, I would still argue that there is a big difference between accepting *unnecessary* risks compared to the acceptable and unavoidable ones.
Exactly!
My answer is all the time!
Thanks for the answer! Merry Christmas!
You are welcome!
@@FedericoMalagutti Hey Federico, im ging to order the Spes Mitten gloves, did you wear any thin glove underneath?
Bonne fête de fin d'année Federico 🤗
Anche a te!!! Grazie :-)
👍
For Gloves, Infinity Gloves by Sparring Gloves seem promising. Haha! We're waiting for our orders coming in March.
I'm just ordering some of those myself. From the research I did, they seem the best compromise between protection, manual dexterity and price. Hope we all like them.
I have them for a few weeks now and they are really good. They offer a lot of protection with great maniability. But it feels better with a longsword than a single handed sword. I would recommend it to everyone. Progauntlets seems fine but maybe wait for some improvements as i did with the infinity gloves
Hi Federico, one question: do you meditate, if yes, what do you feel about it, do you feel it is helpful?
Hi Federico, I know you've been a fencer for many years and it's now even your job so what I wanted to ask you is have you ever had a period of time in which you were bored or unmotivated with fencing and maybe even stopped practicing? How did it go?
PS: Buon Natale! :)
