  • In December 2016, Malian refugees living in the remote south East Mauritania received a donation of clothes to help them cope with the cold season.
Mbera refugee camp (Mauritania) is a temporary home to more than 45,000 refugees from northern Mali.
While the situation in northern Mali remains unstable refugees live in a condition of prolonged exile and face harsh climate conditions.
The clothes were kindly donated by Japanese company UNIQLO under UNHCR supervision.
