I just started reselling on eBay and this is the second video of yours that I have watched. I need all the help I can get. I really appreciate what you have to say and I liked your cat’s cameo at the end.
One way to speed things up is to sell similar off someone else's listing or even one of your own or to create a template! Just be sure to adjust all specifics, especially the item count and size! Also try bulk batching. I take photos 2 days a week then as I can I do listings and also schedule out listings for future days since my health affects my daily abilities. This has actually let me do a lot more listings than when I did each separately start to finish.
"Be open to change"... that is SO right!! Think about all the large successful companies in the world. How did they become large & successful? They changed with the times, right? The ones that did not, got eaten alive by the ones that did. BTW, luv your cat.
100%, so important to embrace change in business owner. Either embrace new ways of doing things or live in fear of change. I know which I would prefer.
Had the same issue selling vintage cameras. Cost way too much time testing and researching them, often having to buy parts, batteries and chargers. And then questions and customer support. Jeeze that ginger cat is cute with his white paws.
I like how you said watch how you spend your week and take note and make changes.then I like how you said be open to change and new ways of doing things then 3 Rd I like how you said we have to niche down to a few items I'm in the process right now.i have a bunch of different items in my store.. trying to niche down to footwear and clothing only and maybe donate the rest of it. I have a few items I have to pull down from my store that are not clothing and footwear.i need to streamline the process and make everything move faster.... KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DOING BRO.....YOU ARE THE BOSS..!!!!!!!
I was just thinking, as I was loving on my cat, that I was hoping you'd be putting out a video again soon! 🎉there's a lot to be said at the ease of selling clothing on eBay and then shipping...put bag of item into priority mail envelope, add label, done.👍I'm definitely selling a little of everything. I can tell that I don't like selling certain items. You brought your kitty in at the end! Did you already say its name?🤔 always appreciate the wealth of information you give us!🙌
Very true, so easy to scale as a clothing seller in comparison to other categories, a fair few less steps to worry about (testing products, packing different items efficiently etc.). Her name is Haru 😺😺😺
Awesome. I am new seller on ebay.Would you mind if I request me to advise on 2 products for selling. Thanks a lot and stay safe. One more thing when u make video please speak slowly.
Just got the msg from ebay saying they will no longer be using file exchange. Sounds like it is being moving to the Reports tab ans we will still be able to use csv files to upload listings in bulk. I would love to see a video explaining differences and similarities. 😳🧐
Yeah that's been in the pipeline for a while. Make sure you have all your templates downloaded as some may not be easily available in the future. But overall it will be the same process as EFE, just uploading into the reports tab in the future. I will definitely cover this in a video soon.
@@SamsonTV yes! I will download the templates I will need asap. I miss TurboLister big time. I made the mistake of deleting mine thinking it wasn't going to be supported then later found out it was still able to be used for awhile.
True. I am currently listing variety of things since I am trying to get exposed right now. One thing I do worry about having a "niche" is the market change that could follow it. Recently, Amazon made changes that will DRASTICALLY affect book sellers (mostly large scale sellers because they reduced how much you can hold). Do you think this is just part of doing business or can this weakness be fixed by having few different niches?
You raise a good point. It can be concerning to have all your eggs in one basket. What I will say is this: 1. Amazon has a history of drastic (and at times almost cruel) changes in how they handle FBA sellers. eBay is much more slow moving & while they do make changes, it has been a long time since they have made one that drastic and it is not likely that they will anytime soon. 2. My major concern would be a change in the market that really effects the niche a seller sells in e.g. what if people decide to stop paying for used clothing etc., I think that when you really focus on a niche it is easier to be aware of where the market is heading & know how to prepare. If I started to see a trend of people not buying clothes I would be quick to look for another option - maybe trading cards etc. Im not overly attached to any niche, I just think its the best option for me right now & therefore I think its better to focus my time on actually getting good at it.
@@SamsonTV Awesome. That makes sense. After all a niche is just a tool to make money. I think personally i am trying to focus on 2-3 niches. That way i have less of that to worry. I don't know what they are right now though. 😳
Thanks! I do, over here in Australia it is called an ABN. I initially got it in order to get wholesale suppliers to take me seriously. It also has a variety of legal/taxation benefits that obviously vary between county to county. Most large US based sellers would have an LLC, so if you're serious about selling online I would recommend making getting one a priority.
Sage advice mate. I’ve always aspired to Churchill’s quote: “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often”. Easier said than done sometimes, but usually worth it when done in a considered way. Worthy content as usual. Especially on time accountability. Thanks for creating.

Yeah some items are just not worth the hassle. Most sellers eventually learn this. 😺
Great video... just wanna say I’d pay good money for your eyebrows... they’re devine!
Haha thanks 😁
Love your kitty. Will you do an video on the file exchange stuff you mentioned?
Yes I will soon, still perfecting my skills with it 👍

You're welcome 😊
Great advice Samson, thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Cheers! Thanks for watching.
Thanks for your help! Do you recommend to use zik analytics?
Cheers! Yes I do, I use it myself & recommend every seller to at least try it.

Hi, I have a recent video featuring 10 winning products to sell on eBay: ruclips.net/video/OI51xM1wz0k/видео.html
Thx again for good info! You need to introduce your beautiful cat (again?).
Cheers! I will do so in a video soon. Her name is Haru & she is a Burmese X Ragdoll.

Awesome tips! Thanks. By the way, do you have a license like an llc? If so (or not) what are your reasons?

@SamsonTV Good to know. I’ve already started to resell, but I’ll still go ahead and begin the LLC process ASAP. Thank you!!
