@@VMUKUMAR Apparently me too...I'm only getting 200-500 MILLIamps when I'm lucky from connecting four in series to achieve a 48v system. With a 100Ah battery bank discharged to 50pct. will require 50Ah. If 8 hours of good sunlight per day and assuming 500ma that means 12-13 days to bring the batteries to full charge. That's assuming the best output I've seen. Probably going to be double that...
exactly what I was gonna say.. according to my calculations that thing is only putting out 17watts but honestly when he opened it and I saw the size I knew what we were in for.
These panels are not good. I was curious so bought a cheap 100watt panel. I already have a good 100w panel and renogy rover mppt controller set up on van. The cheap panel came. It was far too small to generate anything like 100w and on test showed approx 10 watts. Garbage. You occaaionally get bargains but you mostly also get what you pay for.
This is FALSE ADVERTISING especially if it is advertise as 100W and you are getting 15W only. This kind of advertising must stop. This is a waste of people's hard earn money. If it was me, I would get a COMPLETE REFUND because false advertising must not be tolerated.
I just purchased one off eBay for $40 with an upgrade to a 40a controller. Awaiting delivery and hoping it works well! A Renogy 100w is MUCH more expensive! My camping buddy bought a Zamp Solar 100w system for $400! Based on your review and experience, I may buy three more for a total of 400w!
I'm thinking of making a DIY PVC frame with small bungees to hold it. Using a "T" on the top of the frame would allow a "kickstand" of sorts to be able to angle it to face the Sun. I'll try to post pics of this inexpensive project~
Some have a knock down/up converter. Essentially does the same job just not as efficient since u draw more amps lower ur wattage production. But still safe on batteries.
default setting for a Gel battery. B01 is Gel. BO2 is AGM. B03 is the Flooded type. you need to set the battery to the correct type. I have a standard deep cycle flooded battery. you need to set the float voltage to 14.0

this regulator is dangerous and must always be observed. for me it just pumped 16v into the battery when I'm not looked at it and the battery boiled ... better buy einen mppt regler, your is a fake mppt

I have one put on my van this week,150 watts solar panel
And get only at his highest peak a 5o watt out of it
I just recieved one today and going over these reviews. I doubted it could really charge a car battery, but I'm impressed!

Yeah too good to be true, used panels operate around 5% less than new I heard and you can pick them up for around the same price

This one probably has a knock down/up converter in it. Even if it is a fake mppt it's still pretty safe
