We are a family of three and this is our grocery haul from Sainsbury’s & Aldi. This food shop cost £80.06 and we saved £15.40 with Nectar prices. Our Aldi shop was £47.60.

Steak & all the trimmings with Peppercorn Sauce
Roast Chicken
Prawn/Tuna Baked Potatoes
Sweet & Sour Chicken

Hope you get to have all these barbeques you are planning! Those are a great idea for yogurts!...at least you won't lose all your kitchen spoons. Cheeseburger pasta sounds intriguing! Love your hauls. Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Thank you! I hope we soon get bbq weather, it’s been good for the ducks less so for us 😬. I’ve not tried Cheeseburger Pasta but thought the recipe that I saw sounded really good. Hope you had a lovely weekend xx
Original good, have with tomatoes, cucumber and thin sliced red onion, all scooped up on a piece of bred ,light and refreshing x
Oooh that sounds delicious. I have seen recipes for loaded houmous before but never tried it. Might do that over the Summer xx
Hi Denise, If you remember can you let me know if the caramelise houmous is worth getting? I tried houmous for the first time to taste in hospital and its okay so was going to buy some but wasnt sure between that, original or red pepper? Hope the first week of school hols is a lot of fun x
Hi Carol, the caramelised onion was quite nice. Not too ‘oniony’ but enough to taste it. I’ve not tried the Red Pepper one before and I’m not sure if I fancy it. Don’t know why as I do like red pepper 😆. If you do try it then let me know what you think of it xx
