Mad international parents w enough $ do that and all their kids learn English w mostly American teachers and are in class with a higher number of American kids than they would be at a “local” school, so the American accent is further reinforced

Sarr and Okongwu on the hawks is gonna be something to watch in the front court, personally I don’t think that Johnson should be untouchable cuz I think he maxes out as an all star nothing too much higher so you’re gonna have to pay him max money for making all star teams on not all nba, that’s proven to not work out. If I’m Atlanta, I got Trae young who can orchestrate an offense with the best of them and an athletic front court with two mobile bigs that can block shots, guard 2/3-5 and have the potential to be 35-38% 3pt shooters so that’s a nice core. Now they need to use the rest of their assets to get guys that surround these players: maybe deandre hunter, capela (expiring contract) and Johnson (rfa) to Detroit for 5 (Knecht-cheaper younger bogie with a higher ceiling); DJ to SA, Bogie, ATL ‘25 ‘27 ‘29, SAC top 12 protected ‘25 to Brooklyn, Bridges & Finney-Smith to ATL. Some filler picks and players would be included but they’d have around $20m to spend before $14 m to spend before they go over the cap but they completely avoid luxury tax
S: Young, Bridges, Sign SF, Sarr, Okongwu
B: Sign PG, Knecht, Finney- Smith, Sign C
I think the general skeletal structure of this team fits much better together cuz everyone who’s getting paid substantial money can all be on the court at one time which is something that can’t be overlooked

They evolved in an english spoken environment.
Some Americans that didn't make it to the NBA take their talents to Europe. Also the coaches speak english. Their meetings are in English.
Just look at Luka, he played long enough in Madrid and he can speak spanish pretty good.

ATL should trade Young to the Spurs and recoup their 2025 pick and move Murray to the guard. Trade Capela for future picks, draft Saar and keep looking forward to the future. They need to keep Murray or let him go and go for a PG that is at the end of his career like Westbrook or someone like Malcom Brogdon. But they need to start looking into the future and still be competitive in some way. We’ll see what they do, but this year is key for them.
