Still early on, but my curse of Friday night footy tipping continues. In all honestness though, full credit to the swans, they looked sharp with their ball movement all night against the pies and have produced a comfortable win against the reigning premiers.

Amazing team Sydney are, to beat us then to beat the raining champs, is a great effort. I had nothing but high hopes for Sydney this year, Collingwood just seem off, other teams just want the win more, hungrier. Warner had a good game, quieting in 23’ but is going to be the explosive young talent he was in 22’ good stuff from Sydney! 🏆

Collingwood have been comprehensively beaten on consecutive occasions. Have the opposition played that well or have Collingwood been that poor? I believe that latter is more apparent. In both games the score lines are flattering to Collingwood. Are Collingwood afflicted with hubris or have other contenders elevated themselves by a significant degree?
Yeah 0.54 was a clean mark, then the umpire called play on for stepping off the mark. It was a tough one i reckon. Another umpire might have paid the 50 metre penalty against the Sydney player for stepping over the mark. Interpretation is a big thing when it comes to umpires in AFL.

I would argue both, Collingwood played quite poorly however Sydney also played great with heeney have a dominant game
