Brilliant, I’ve been attempting the backroll for the 1st time in my last 2 sessions on the water and I’d find myself landing the rotation only to watch my kite drop to the water because it went past 12 and I was obviously pulling the backhand too much during the trick. I’ll try that new hand position tomorrow and hopefully I’ll land my 1st backroll. 🤞

How to prevent steering the kite while doing the backroll?
ah..........that's where i'm going wrong........i put the kite at 12 and do it and get pulled around. so going left, do it at 11...thanks man!
What about accidental kite loop half way through. I tried this and felt the kite ya k hard when I was blind to the kite, I assumed it looped.
