The US and UK also had their own versions of the 325iS. The South African SPEC was different. The name Evo1 came because it was an evolution from the Previous 325iS the US and UK had which was a 2.5l to the 2.7L with a better body kit and more power and all...It confused the hell out of me when I found out other countries had a 325iS..
