If you haven't yet, you should look into the Berkeley powerbait nessie. They make a 5, 7, and 9 inch glide bait, and they're cheap at walmart. It's really fun to use. I'd love to see you do a video on it.

Probably one of my biggest (only?) top-water blow-ups ever was a Bowfin on a hulapopper. Walking it over lily pads, at a sand bar in Lake Champlain and it inhaled the thing straight into it's stomach.

Do you happen to know which of the freshwater bass species is said to be the tastiest? I googled this question recently and they say smallmouth/spotted bass, stating that the spotted are probably just a little better. Just curious, I would think a native from Alabama like yourself would be very much into eating that kind of stuff. I don't know though. Everyone's different of course. Just curious what your take is on it. Especially since you threw back a whole lot of PB spotted bass. I was like wow! He could have had a fish fry! You wouldn't be going against any of the pros that say you're not allowed to eat large mouth. You'd be okay, lol. Hey take care Logan! I appreciate what you do. This was a really cool video. Not just saying that. I love catching spotted bass and eating them if I can. Mostly around here though it's just largemouth. I'm not far enough down south for the peacocks, but I hear they're not all that great eating either.
