Its not often we put out a single on Dirtbox Recordings, In fact its very fucking rare. So much in fact we have always leaned upon artists to bring out a journey with us of their musical talents taking us through different sounds and flows from their studio.
But today is a different day and an artist we have been wanting to work with for quite a while has landed on the label with this solo effort, None other than the man known as Glitch City.
Debuting with us back in April with his monstrous Dark Tower Remix for our 50th release, Sam (known as, by his family and friends) Brings the game to Dirtbox with a future anthem for us and a track we insist will be played for years to come.
This single is not a one stop for us either, Sam is back in just a couple of months with a huge EP as this track being the lead into that as a taster of what's to come.
1/ Glitch City - “Land Of The Noble”
We kick things off in a very “Shaabi-esque” egyptian flow of sounds, Including Synths, Guitars and harmonic yet hieroglyphical voices echoing right up until our track sample that leads to our first drop.
Acid lines and stabbing riffs cruise through this one, with some heavyweight bass to match that take us to our breakdown and yet more Pyramid funk, Which we feel is a perfect description of what you are about to hear.
A great solo introduction to the label I am sure you will agree and for us a lovely taster of the future EP by Glitch CIty.
