Funny thing, I’ve actually never not had tingle immunity. There’s been two times when I have a moment of tingles but they always are fleeting and never come back even if I watch the same video. I just find ASMR really relaxing.
Massive mood fr. Though I do get tingles a little more often, the same video rarely gives me it on a rewatch. Kinda sucks.

honestly, I think one of my triggers is higher and/or more feminine voices 😭💀 I also struggle with getting tingles a lot, but the switch between whispers and soft spoken higher pitched / feminine voice rlly does it for me. Thank you for such an amazing video! :)

I can get occasional tingly feelings in real life encounters. Like a genuine haircut, for instance. they're rare, but they happen.
Though ASMR videos never really seems to do that for me. It's just relaxing to have something to focus on. And the unpredictable nature of it is also part of my lowkey obsession

See, there's no such thing as "true immunity." It's more like Achilles Heel. You're immune to everything, except for one thing, which you are WAY too overly sensitive to. You have to think of that one trigger as you're becoming immue, or else it fails and everything becomes super sensitive, EXCEPT the one thing you were focusing on, which you become immune to (basically a reverse Achilles Heel.)
Be very, VERY careful if you go into immunity everyone...be safe

As someone who genuinely does have tingle immunity and rarely gets tingles, I tingled a lot...
It’s one thing to not feel tingles anymore. It’s another to have never felt them. Ive never had tingles. Not once. I don’t watch asmr for that. When sounds are extremely close up and small they feel interesting but it’s not tingles. What I like the most in asmr is voice as that is the most interesting sound there is for me. I have heard by many people that their favorite is tapping or water or all sorts of sounds and it’s probably because they get a sensation from those that they don’t from voice. But when you can’t get that sensation, purely based on sound, human voice is amazing. Especially when it’s broken English. Somehow an accent or a distortion of normal English sounds very interesting.

for me its kinda like a prickling feeling down my scalp, my back, n my arms. its hard to describe, its almost like getting tickled really lightly, but unlike getting tickled, its pleasant 😭

I've had fleeting moments of a tingling feeling, but sound doesn't really do it for me. I really just watch asmr to relax. The only time I've had actual tingles was when I got a shoulder massage. I wish I got tingles like other people do
