I have had this radio for almost 2 months. I have not experienced ANY of the problems that have been posted in the previous comments. I have heard in discussions with other actual.owners of this radio that initially there were radios that did have issues. Sangean has corrected most if not all of them, including the volume on sideband. There is a slight drop in volume but the ability to pull in sideband is awesome. I live in a brick house in an urban neighborhood and I do most of my listening without an extrrnal antenna. This radio has exceeded expectations for sure.

I don't have this one but I do buy 45% on what I post just can't afford to buy everything lol 😳 so I try to do my best with deep researching.
