I actually have a sound effects record that has silent lock-grooves following every single one of the 40+ tracks. Yes, you heard me right. 40+ LOCK-GROOVES ON ONE RECORD.
Would’ve driven my Dad berserk with this ! Used to line up chairs in our bedroom with my brother , then put the needle on the label, full volume . Rocket Ship !!! 😂
I've been looking for this album EVERYWHERE. It was one of my favorites from my childhood! Any chance you can get that music online/send it to me?!?!?!
@jenzeppelin I love old kiddies records the most! I'm still missing that Beatles Chipmunks LP! I only found it on CD so far. But I know I'll find it one day, along with a clean copy of Sesame Disco and Sesame Street Fever!
@Meanmanmartin2007 Me too. I am also interested in lock grooves. One that I know but hasnt been uploaded to RUclips is the vinyl version of Stereolab's Transient Random Noise Bursts With Announcements.
@OldMusicOnVinyl1 Thats a really brilliant ending. Just such a shame thats one of the few records that doesn't continue endlessley on my record deck. And I would love to find out how the tape version ends
@andie323 Aw, I feel bad for saying this, but I am not set up at all for vinyl transfers anymore. I have to say no, but I sincerely hope you can eventualy find it. Have you tried looking for it on eBay?
@aldiakaroofus yeah- i've looked there! no luck! no luck online shopping at all! isn't that strange??? well. if you ever end up set up for transfers, I'd just LOVE to have the album. Thanks!
Thanks for uploading this. I'm really interested in records with lock grooves. The closest I've got to this is the lock groove at the end of the Muppet Show 2 album with Fozzie saying "Help" over and over again and even then, it cuts off on my turntable. Have you ever heard that record before?
I bet the kids who heard this record were puzzled and or frightened is to why this playing that bit over and over in a loop. Like, Mommy, the record's skipping. Not knowing that it's a cool lock groove.
HAS TWO heheheh
HAS TWO heheheh
RIP Caroll Spinney.
I think this is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard

@Mum2Boys I have at least 2 with lock grooves between tracks. One is for schools and the other one for radio stations.
@Mum2Boys I've not managed to hear that one yet. Hopefully it'll be uploaded at some point.

Does anyone know how the cassette version of Camping In Canada ends?
@OldMusicOnVinyl1 I'm afraid not, sorry. I don't think I even have a North American version of that album.
Do you have the UK Pye version of The Muppet Show 2?
