the FP protection they added is actually alot better than just a slow-fall buff. Low levels flying between SW and IF could get dropped into SG or BS and a slow-fall buff isnt going to save them from insta death soon as they hit the ground to a lvl 50+ mob
Huge win with the fp protection. Dced just 4 or 5 days ago on flight from bb to menethil. Came back to me falling but luckily was over the river between westfall and duskwood. No more shall we be nervous on flights! Cheers

When running from Theramore, there is a small cave with raptors on the other side of RFD. If you log out while standing on a rock or a mushroom there, so that your feet are high in the air above your height, and the logout will port you straight to RFD portal.

Xaryu playing style and logic:
Using potions in duel is banned unless I am losing, dust is banned unless I am losing
Won't honor the duel results, and will keep trying until he wins once, and that's it as if he hadn't lost before!
I am also fast when I hit it from the back.

Even with all those measures to prevent hc death, its still possible to die on a flight path. Immunity nor insta off cd hs will save you if you are afk through a fp and your character gets dismounted inside the ground. He will still die.
If you die to afk it's your fault, not blizzards

Already did 100 dps on lvl 22 with Bfd sword on classic launch.
Not a weapon no dw penatly, rage for days for infinite hs+cleave giving more AP scaling than a miss offhand could provide.

Same server diff layers. Likely he invited the priest and mobbs spawned on top of him because he joined Xars layer
It's a different instance or layer to separate players to avoid overpopulation and lag. When invited to a group it may swap layers and spawn previously killed mobs since on this layer no one killed them
I’m not one to laugh at other’s misfortune, but the way it all played out was a bit comical. The editor zooming in, showing us the inevitable demise, then Xaryu in his map missing the situation till the end. I couldn’t help but chuckle. It sucks to lose a character so high up there though. 😅

mages can take on 5 same levels same geared opponents at the same time but only 1% of the players who play mages will know how to..

The 1K needles duels was the cringest thing I 've ever seen in this series. Full of bennies, spent multiple golds on 1 time use consumes, a million engineering tricks and only won 1 in 3. Then proceeds to lord over the clearly superior player and boast on stream. Dunno if the "fans" like it, but seriously, I am rooting for Xar to die at this point. This kind of hubris and audacity should be put down a couple of notches.
