I love my 56mm F4, but I’m making a new setup with another local brand 51mm 101du wheels, just to do some tricks at the park. My main board still rocks the spitfires
Dude, I never knew that about green eyes... but I've ALWAYS wondered why I have to wear sunglasses outside when none of my other buddies seem to be bothered by the sun glaring into their eyeballs! Damn having green eyes! Also... slappy trucks rock!! Congrats on the new sponsorship! 🤟
My Setup: Mob Grip, Real "Free Bird - Blue" 8.25, Tensor 5.5 "Clear Sky RAW" & I don't know the wheels 🤷♂️ I was using Pigs "Piggy Smalls" 53mm but they flatspotted & a friend gave me some newish wheels to use instead
I've been itching to try the Slappies. How do you find they turn compared to Indy or Thunder? Personally, I love both, but Thunders are my 'home' truck.
I love my Ricta clouds on my cruising board. I know you're obviously talking about your daily driver setup, but I feel it is worth mentioning that those are solid wheels for certain applications, I might even go softer, I'm rocking the 92A's right now
Thought you only made braille related content. Since most of your popular videos are bout that. U should probably make a "Ricky and Jenise Apology Video" for that one that might get alota traction
Yo bro! Just ordered a Toy Machine Myles Willard toon deck 8.25 with the slappyST1 trucks cuz of you to try! Super pumped! Also trying grizzly grip and the spitfire F4 93a 54mm for first time! This summer has been great watching your videos congrats on the sponsorship you deserve it!🫡🏆🌎🛹📺💎✍️💯
If you are a beginner at skateboarding then Slappy trucks are the worst trucks you can choose. They are way too loose and you can’t really tighten them much.
Dude! I have blue green heterochromatic eyes which are also super sensitive to light. No one ever believes me though and think it's just cause I wanna look cool in sunglasses. Feels good to finally hear someone else say it :)
You just reminded me, I have the same setup 56mm wheels with slappy trucks and no riser pads, it's gonna wheelbite. I gotta make wheel wells on that setup. I use a 2" drum sander bit and I chuck it up on the drill. If I had to buy it again I would even go 2.5" or 3". I've used the sanding bit on another project but not a deck with wheelwells. This is a pretty heavy setup too. Mine has 8.25 trucks and 8.38 board width, which doesn't help. I feel like big wheels weigh twice as much as a normal 52mm skinny wheel. When you're working on your pop you do want a more responsive board. You're also working with a shorter kingpin so might feel less of the "pinch" on a round bar. Also the dimensions of the truck is different than you're used to, the turn radius maybe also, and the top bushing is kind of short, so they turn very easy with input but feel focused otherwise. And sometimes they bind up on the top washer and it pinches the edge of the bushings, but they feel alright. Definitely holding slappys in my hand and basic cast aluminium hanger independents these are heavier. But it doesn't feel cheap or anything. They have a nice finish. They're pretty nice trucks, actually. I think I chose this set of trucks to try to frontside slash grinds.
Inverted kingpins arent new, prolly been around 15+ years, guess only the gen x skaters remember them. Before those we just flipped our kingpins upside down if we really got annoyed by hangups...which we rarely did..we just pushed and grinded harder till the kingpin and the nut were literally the same piece of metal LOL
I love my slappys. I just wish they were lower. I put bones bushings in them along with 53mm wheels and they're low enough to manage. I love Sinclair and he did a good job with them
The reason the expensive bearings broke from impact is because they are for long boards
Can your Escapism board get delivered to germany? It says on the Website that its only available in the UK
Red 8.5 Baker preferably clear grip tape independent hollows bones supers spitfire 52 and independent hardware with the little engravings on them 😂
You see the new grimple formula fours? Fire!

Conversely, I wonder if my brown eyes contribute to me not really being bothered by UV light

All this formula four hype is ridiculous. Just sayin. Really like your videos tho.
u could just flip ur kingpin upside down, independent trucks are designed for it
Definitely going to need this when I set up a board
Congrats on the slappy flow that's awesome.
Ace Hollow Hardware is the best hardware.
Ace trucks turn crazy nice
wheels are 56mm not 55 LOL
Beautiful 🔥🔥
Gonna have to try some slappys, been rocking my Venture hollows for years and it’s time to try something new 😂
Stay awake
The consistency🤌
9:24 56's
My recent setup is primitive deck and grip,Indy 139s,spitfire 54s,Shorty's 1 inch, mini logo bearings
Ace are super squirly it’s not really user error. A lot of people put hard bushings in them. I really want to try the slappys or the indy stage 4

Krux trucks also comes in board size, by the way

whats the ETA on that landrover board??? Looks mint.
Formula 4s.. no thanks. 97a Slime Balls are the best IMO and have skated them for years.
I have a set of slime ball vomit minis I just haven't gotten around to setting them up. Maybe after my current f4 s I'll try them.
Why a no thanks? Are they bad?

Bro in 2 days I’ll see you at adrenaline ally
I have those same trucks lol
You need wheels for sure!
I was formula four only until I tried the new bones X formula x99 wheels and I will never go back haha they are a perfect all around wheel
I’m sorry I have to say i personally think the dragon wheels are way better than the formula fours
You're the only one.

I used to just invert ghe kingpin myself ,in the 80s
Grind king was the only big truck company pushing them and when they went out of business the other truck companies finally gave in.

Low trucks are over rated.
