Now Inter and Milan are trying to build two different property stadium as all the other Big Teams have already done. But i Think that those two teams, and the city itself, needs a unique stadium tocelebrate the Derby. The EuroDerby basically put Us as the center of Europe for two weeks. So I think the best thing to be done is to build a co-property stadium between the two teams.
As another Inter fan, I agree. Would prefer if we kept sharing and built a new stadium together. But I guess the upside is you get more of the revenue if you have your own (but will also cost twice as much to build if you both have to build separate ones).

Showing my age but I fell in love with football watching Gazzeta Football Italia on a Saturday on channel 4 in the early 90s. And then on the Sunday they showed a match. It coincided with David Platt and Gazza playing in Italy.
Get well soon Nieve! The video was class, as always! The derby della madonnina might be the most posh derby in the world imo. Imagine doing that in South America or anywhere in the Balkans.. It goes with the city i suppose..
When I first started watching English football I was intrigued how the fans are sectioned off from visitors and home. As an American it just doesn't happen like that. You might sell a visiting club a section or 2 tickets but the fans are always sprinkled in really all American sports stadiums. Great video!
Great video. This is how most games in the States are where everyone sits together. It’s usually safe to wear Road colors at most American stadiums unless it’s a huge rival.
you should come in Florence for Fiorentina - juventus one time, it's like a derby despite we both are not from the same region or city. One of the most ancient rivalries ever.
Fans are regularly mixed together in the Merseyside derby with families split between Red and Blue but sharing a stadium experiencing this massive Derby in world football i cant see it working in the UK anyway .
What the Ajax fan was saying was interesting. I heard Lineker talking about playing in El Classico recently and it being silent when he scored at the Bernabeu because there were no away fans at all.
Actually in England back in the 80s and also further back than that, there were areas in grounds, where away fans could get tickets in the home end, there was a general rule to be respectful in celebrations, these were usually the side stands, not behind the goals, which were standing terreaces. There were no real checks... you could rock up and get a ticket on the day for most games. It's only since Heysel, Hillsborough etc, that segregation gradually become heightened and enforced in English football.
@@geoffpoole483 Yes, for sure, but segregation was not enforced heavily back then as it is now, especially the side stands. Have been an 'away fan' (without colours) at a few grounds back in mid 80s as a kid. Fulham's neutral section is def unique though and have been there 👍
Me and my friends have vowed to visit this iconic stadium before its demolished for the redevelopment in 2026, I've been outside it before but have to experience a match in it
Oh you definitely should, however if I’m honest, I can’t see them moving out in 2026. There’s a lot of red tape around stadium development in Italy, with most stadiums belonging to the municipalities, not the clubs themselves. Don’t take my word for it though!

Before I stepped foot on the UK I couldn’t really feel the local rivalries. Being an Arsenal fan for about 10 years our main rival for me in those years were wherever Mourinho went to😅. Then in 2018 I came to the UK for the first time to study, but I was in Scotland at that time, then came again in 2020. From all the news I read football rivalries in continental Europe are generally much more hostile then the North London derby, but the Milan one is certainly special.
Napoli are not a big club. They simply play in a 3rd world city, whit and employment rate of 41% (In Milan and in EU the average is 70%). In Napoli, away fans are even not allowed in the stadium. And law enforcment officers don't even protect them because they are hoolingans and support Napoli. This city is a nightmare
Sad to know that a plastic fan clown like the first guy has potentially taken away a ticket from a fanatic AC Milan fan who deserved it more to be there.
I did not know in milan they would have mixed seatings like that. I'm brazilian and I've only seen that in Rio de Janeiro derbies when played in the legendary Maracanã, Flamengo x Vasco, Flamengo x Fluminense, Vasco x Botafogo and such. I'm from São Paulo and a supporter of São Paulo FC and here for some 10 years we have not allowed away fans in our city derbies (São Paulo x Palmeiras, São Paulo x Corinthians), just as De Klassieker there is just too much hostility between our ultras. That's just to show how much different football culture can be even in the same country.
When milan plays at home the stadium outside the "curva nord" is supposed to be full of milan fans, that's why it's all red and black. When Inter plays at home is the opposite. However outside the 2 "curve", a lot of fans are mixed
Well... As a Milan fan I tell you that we are not friends. Until a few years ago, it was not uncommon to end up in a brawl between the two fans. It's much better now, but we're still well separated. We live together, but tensions are not lacking, especially for the issue related to the new stadiums. Going back to the game, I really hope we can overturn the result in the second leg, but it will be really difficult for us. We don't have suitable reinforcements from the bench and we also lost Bennacer who will return next season. "La speranza è l'ultima a morire", so... Forza Milan and thanks for this beautiful content, Nieve! 😀
I'm constantly amazed at how English football fans seem to praise classic Italian clashes so much (like the derbies of Milan, Rome and Genoa, the Derby d'Italia Juventus-Inter, or the Napoli-Roma rivalry). You would think they might be used to this with how thorough the support for English team gets
I think there’s a sort of nostalgia from when these derbies were a lot more intense in the 80s 90s. Italian teams were arguably more iconic than other foreign teams. So I feel there will always be something mesmerizing about Italian derbies; even when they’re not doing well in the league.
@@ephraimrodriguez4594 Yes, plus the atmosphere at the Italian derbies is always amazing. So much color, passion, noise, sound. The choreos / tifos in Italy area also unreal. The sights and sounds of Italian football are really special. England doesn't have anything like that.
@@lyndoncmp5751 I also enjoy when English fans suddenly come up with a new chant and the whole stadium sings in unison as if they always knew the song by heart

Showing my age but I fell in love with football watching Gazzeta Football Italia on a Saturday on channel 4 in the early 90s. And then on the Sunday they showed a match. It coincided with David Platt and Gazza playing in Italy.
Great show that was, I knew next to nothing about Italian football before then. Enjoyed the live game on the Sunday as well.
Me too. I started following Atalanta from afar because of that show. To this day I still like them
Great video, I really enjoy your perspective on things.
Thank you! I really appreciate that
Another great video Nieve. Love it. Love from NJ USA.
Get well soon Nieve!
The video was class, as always!
The derby della madonnina might be the most posh derby in the world imo.
Imagine doing that in South America or anywhere in the Balkans..
It goes with the city i suppose..
Brilliant stuff Neive! Keep up this amazing content. You ever thought of going to an Icelandic league game?
Funnily enough, I was looking into this recently, as I’ve always wanted to visit Iceland. Could be a very interesting experience!
Great video! As an Inter fan, I must say the AC fans were great sports when I was in Milan.
Just discovering your page. This video is outstanding!
When I first started watching English football I was intrigued how the fans are sectioned off from visitors and home. As an American it just doesn't happen like that. You might sell a visiting club a section or 2 tickets but the fans are always sprinkled in really all American sports stadiums. Great video!
Nice stadium not a patch on Bloomfield road 😏
Great video as always
Very lucky to get to watch a Milan derby at the san siro. Semi final of the champions league aswell. Your going places peg.👍
Great video. This is how most games in the States are where everyone sits together. It’s usually safe to wear Road colors at most American stadiums unless it’s a huge rival.
brilliance as always 🙏
Hi, what mic/ equipment do you use? It looks great!
Nice video editing, very refreshing compared to others 😄 Greetings from Germany
you should come in Florence for Fiorentina - juventus one time, it's like a derby despite we both are not from the same region or city. One of the most ancient rivalries ever.
Wonderful editing 💪🏻
Beautiful again please keep making this content it's truly incredible get well soon
It’s better when both sets of fans can come together. I still remember Sheffield derbies when fans could mix. It was still a great atmosphere.
I was starting to think you really didn't like derbies like that lol thanks for uploading
You def need to come see the next game of Basel vs Zürich in Switzerland!
It's time to avenge the defeat of 20 years ago
Te l'ho promesso da bambino🖤💙
got to love stuntpeg xx
Fans are regularly mixed together in the Merseyside derby with families split between Red and Blue but sharing a stadium experiencing this massive Derby in world football i cant see it working in the UK anyway .
What the Ajax fan was saying was interesting. I heard Lineker talking about playing in El Classico recently and it being silent when he scored at the Bernabeu because there were no away fans at all.
Becouse they do not travel well, and spanish atmosfere, like english, mostly sucks
Segregation in English grounds happened long before the mid-80s. Fulham FC has a section for neutral supporters.
@@geoffpoole483 Yes, for sure, but segregation was not enforced heavily back then as it is now, especially the side stands. Have been an 'away fan' (without colours) at a few grounds back in mid 80s as a kid. Fulham's neutral section is def unique though and have been there 👍
The atmosphere is great I would like to visit once
Me and my friends have vowed to visit this iconic stadium before its demolished for the redevelopment in 2026, I've been outside it before but have to experience a match in it
Oh you definitely should, however if I’m honest, I can’t see them moving out in 2026. There’s a lot of red tape around stadium development in Italy, with most stadiums belonging to the municipalities, not the clubs themselves. Don’t take my word for it though!
More like 2036
More like 3026
@@stuntpeggnieve I thought it was being planned to be redeveloped after it had hosted the Winter Olympics in 2026, but I see plenty of articles now saying that those plans are shelved, oh well, still gonna try visit next season
In 2026 there are going to be the Winter Olympic games and the opening is in San Siro, so they can’t move a brick until then.
Never will understand why you would “hate” someone who supports another club.
All this Hard work over the years is going to pay of big time.
Sheesh you get around to these games, thats awesome. While I'm jealous of you seeing all these games, I'm not jealous of the travel lol. Thats some dedication.
Hi Nieve. Are you going for the City vs RMA game?
Although that 'microphone' still looks silly still love how Italian she looks here. Quality and interesting vid overall.
Milan and Inter fans respect each other and are calm with each other because, above all else, they love their city: MILANO!
My fav RUclipsr😫
I enjoyed this match too. What's the historical background for the rivalry between the Milan clubs?
Before I stepped foot on the UK I couldn’t really feel the local rivalries. Being an Arsenal fan for about 10 years our main rival for me in those years were wherever Mourinho went to😅. Then in 2018 I came to the UK for the first time to study, but I was in Scotland at that time, then came again in 2020. From all the news I read football rivalries in continental Europe are generally much more hostile then the North London derby, but the Milan one is certainly special.
You even adopted the Milan outfit style! Get well soon, your content is great.
Nieve muttering "it should have been us" in Neapolitan under her breath throughout.
Wooow, Napoli or another big club should hire you to do all their pre and post match social media coverage.
LOVE your content!
I had the same thoughts
I wanted to get a ticket and ong it was impossible
@@acojone6110 I can imagine that. Really sad. Mass sports tourism is cancerous.
That's just to show how much different football culture can be even in the same country.
the ultras section are still divided here, it's just the normal fans that are mixed
When milan plays at home the stadium outside the "curva nord" is supposed to be full of milan fans, that's why it's all red and black. When Inter plays at home is the opposite. However outside the 2 "curve", a lot of fans are mixed
@@ahdiboile due curve hanno stretto un patto di non aggressione che dagli anni ottanta resiste ancora oggi
love this content ❤
Best British person to engage with Italian football since James Richardson living the dream!
Let the younger brother have his moment😂
#forzainter
@@ayo_chilt I can't, bro! 😜
You are a fantastic storyteller!

"The sights and sounds of Italian football are really special. England doesn't have anything like that."
The Anfield Kop laughs at you.
@@lyndoncmp5751 I also enjoy when English fans suddenly come up with a new chant and the whole stadium sings in unison as if they always knew the song by heart
Back in the 80's I had an Italian girlfriend, she came from Milan, we were serious about each other that I was taken to meet her parents, as they lived in a small apartment and they were seriously Catholic I couldn't stay with her and them and she couldn't stay at a hotel with me it was decided that would meet each other at the San Siro for the Milan derby, it made perfect sense at the time, I met her parents and two extremely suspicious brothers, I was given an Internazionale shirt to wear!
As parental introductions go there isn't a close second, the Milan derby at the San Siro is IMHO something everyone should experience once in your lifetime, I still own the Inter jersey and although me and Maria went our separate ways a couple of years later I remain an Inter fan to this day
You do it better then others. So careful about details! Thank you
Such a kind thing to say, thank you!
Brilliant as usual
In Italy this can happen only in Milan, where people generally are soft.
In any other Italian city it would be impossible and very dangerous.
That was very interesting. What's your view on the clubs leaving the San Siro? I've watched videos in which the stadium is portrayed as needing refurbishment.
they will not leave
This is so cool and thoughtful!
