    I second the guy asking for the Imperial Navy. Or maybe even different ones for different Battlefleets like Battlefleet Gothic and Battlefleet Solar.

      I will try to look into it. Maybe i will do something more generic first. I need some time for thinking about it (and even to have some more credits to make the songs :D ), but soon or later it will come.

    • @rolelifeproject
      @rolelifeproject  11 дней назад

      If you mean i fought with them, im pretty sure he did.
      He was not the commissar of the legion during the second war, but after that he was assigned to rebuild the 4th reggiment.
      A quote from him: "Imperial Guardsmen, you are the last line of defence against the alien hordes that threaten our Imperium. Each one of you brave warriors is part of a vast fighting force that will be called upon to serve in the eternal war. You will fight on countless battlefields on a thousand different worlds across the galaxy. And, whether you fight in our great crusading armies or serve with the smallest garrison, you must be proud to sacrifice your life to save Humanity from its enemies."
      - Commissar Yarrick, addressing new recruits
      And Before that he was assigned as Commissar for the Planetary Defences so, i'm pretty sure he was there with them in both occasions (in one way or another).

    what kind of prompt do you use in Suno to get the raw and natural male chorus?
    Whenever I try, I get the cliche pop star voice.

    • @rolelifeproject
      @rolelifeproject  14 дней назад +1

      Oh, I would love to give you a simple answer, but unfortunately, that's not the case.
      So far, I haven't found a prompt that gives me consistent results right away (if you find one, let me know, it would make my production process much easier XD).
      I can manage to make it understand that I want a choir usually, yes, but most of the time that’s not enough.
      To create a male chorus and march songs, if you are interested in that too, my usual process is: a basic prompt (which is usually something like 'Military Chant' or 'Military Chorus' or 'Proud Soldiers Anthem' or a mix of those) to get a starting point.
      Once I have a good beginning, I start experimenting with the 'Extension' function (prompt + mood I want, prompt + rhythm, prompt + musical instrument), and then I combine everything (prompt + rhythm + mood + instrument).
      The recent addition of the 'Cover' function helps a lot in this regard to have different results, but I’m still experimenting, so I couldn’t give you any additional or complete guidelines.
      When/If I get something decent, there’s usually something that needs to be fixed (unclear words, additional sections I didn’t ask for, sudden genre changes like pop), and that’s where post-production with Audacity comes in.
      I try to fix as much as I can by cutting and blending parts that might come from other songs I got earlier (if they have the same rhythm), equalizing the most i can to get a better sound.
      Or I give up if I realize I don't like it enough and start over, this time using the complete prompt I previously developed if i think it was good enought.
      I spend a very lots of credits just to make one song come together (it’s usually in the hundreds, unless I get really lucky), but for now, this is my way. I don't think is the most efficient for sure, but is the one that gives me best results for my taste.
      My production is limited for this reason as well.
      TL;DR
      In short, there isn't, for now or as far as I know, a useful and immediate prompt even to get a male military chorus. It's a combination of having a clear idea, stubbornness (really necessary), improvisation, editing, and luck (which is unfortunately is mostly crucial right now).
      But, hey! AI is still very random at the moment: sometimes you might get it right on the 10th attempt, or maybe on the 245th.
      So, don't give up: try or stop and move on to try again later.
      I hope you find this answer even a little bit helpfull.

      @@rolelifeproject Great response, thanks! Using your suggestions (and applying a bit of my own common sense too), I've been able to achieve some pretty awesome results, much better than the stuff I was getting initially on Suno. “Three times tested in war” does that mean that they now of the daemon invasion in the first war? Someone call the inquisition. (Entire planet had to be evacuated because the inquisition wanted them all dead to keep it a secret, which led to the months of shame, nitpicking I know, love the song though)

    • @rolelifeproject
      @rolelifeproject  Месяц назад +1

      Hey! Nitpicking is something all fans do when we love something, so it's fair to do it.
      I thought about that when I was writing the song: the more I thought about it, the less I liked the idea of wiping out the First War, so I went with this.
      In the song, they never mention demons (of course, that would be too much), only Xenos and Orks, like they fought three wars against them. In my mind, I imagined a situation where the Space Wolves told Steel Legion conscripts that they fought well against humanity's worst enemies alongside them, but just didn’t mention demons, of course. It seemed much worse that, in a song for them, their courage would be diminished like this (In the end: i tought that Logan Grimnar went full "Fuck the Inquisition!" and did what he could to show respect for the Legion)

      @leonhardthomasius8872 i'm really glad you liked so much to make it your "head canon" for the Steel Legion.
      Is what it made me begin with the AI songs: make music that would fit or i would enjoy for 40k factions, situations, stories etc (because in my opinion there are not enought band or musician interested in this awesome but terrible 40k galaxy. At least for now...).
      Back to your question, others asked for that too and until now i prefered to let it pass.
      BUT if i reach 1k of subscribers i am ready to change my mind and put a bit more of effort and money to make you and others happy.
      Thx again for your comment by the way, happy listening and, now and always, the Emperor Protects!
