Ford Ranger T6 Grille Upgrade options and removal ( not the easiest grille to change )

- In this video we have a look at changing the front grille on our Ford Ranger - turn out that its not the easiest grille to change as the plastic tabs break on removal - but if you are fitting a new grille thats not such a problem. Or it could be there is a better way to do this !
Can't believe you did this. Changed mine today. Not one tab broken. I would advise deleting this video for the sake of Ranger owners.
I did mine, one tab broken, from stupidity (thought it was cleared so pulled a bit to hard) These guys need to be avoided at all cost. 2014 here, just swapped to an aftermarket black grille, looks great and fits great because I knew these guys were jokes

I watched half of this video then removed mine without breaking anything, simply by doing NONE of what these guys did 🤣🤦🏼♀️

Nothing against you guys, but I feel like the one holding the camera would have been better suited for this task. I just swapped mine out and I had only one busted clip from my own stupidity. If I had followed you most everything would have been busted with only a few clips left to hold everything together. The one holding the camera was obviously the more patient one, as he was saying to "look here" or "see there" yet you just proceeded yanking and pulling....most of those clips you broke could have gotten to from the side or underneath and squeezed them together or in the case of the middle piece (which you didn't even put back on, which is essential for air flow) squeeze them apart from each other, but you didn't bother, you just proceeded in ripping the grille out with no patience or disregard of what you might screw up, then kept the wind deflector off the back of the replacement while it is intentionally left there for a reason. I will never look at you guys for advice unless I want something F'ed up, maybe if cameral holder is doing it, he seems a bit more cautious, but you, ripping, pulling and tearing then blaming Ford for making your life hard???? give me a break.
Mike all your comments are fair and justified - but I still think the grill is not a piece of great design !

I made that by myself. It was very easy. Needed 10 min. I was gentle and destroyed nothing 😀

I have to agree with you - we felt like a pair of clowns but is there any easier way to remove the grille ? - it seems Ford designed ti not to be removable ?
@@sj3323 yes you just get your hand around underneath the front part after you take out the 4 clips you first took out and you just squeeze the clips together and they come out easy
