It looks yummy. Can we use the filling with a mixture of just fresh grated coconut, roasted sesame seeds, jaggery and cardamom powder( ie, without heating and roasting the entire mixture)
Recipe looks good but you are not mentioning how much water you are adding for howlong you are cooking the filling … make videos in such a way so that it will be easier for beginners to learn well 😊
The jaggery i have used is clean and of good quality without any impurities, but if you have a variety that may need filtering then dilute it with water and then filter it and add it
Coconut and jaggery should be added together. Rice flour needs to be added to boiling water n then steamed. Totally wrong method. But appreciate your hard work

Generally Til is NEVER used in Prasadams unless it involves 3 conditions - Ancestral worship - mandatory. - Makar Sankranti - mandatory - Lord Shani. Individual Family traditions are just that - specific to you and your family

We always make it with sesame seeds every year for vinayagar chathurthi. It’s a tradition followed from my grandmother. It’s being forgotten. 😊
