It's an awesome book and I have read it twice. The last few pages touched me so much. I cried for my lost loves and friends. Neil's book is a love letter to all the people whose lives have touched him. It is one of the best autobiographies I have read.

I'm reading "Waging Heavy Peace" by Neil Young which has greatly expanded my knowledge and appreciation of just about everything Neil Young, including his lovely wife, Pegi.
I've always been a Neil Young fan but never really knew much about him. I'm reading his book now and he is so not what I thought. Sounds like a really down to earth, great guy. Loyal friend, loving husband and father. His book is highly recommended to all those who haven't read it yet.

+solstis56 Not really in this case, Crazy Horse years before was a very good vocal group with virtually the same line up, of guys Danny Whitten, Billy Talbert etc ,called Danny and The Memories with the song Can't Help Loving That Girl of Mine, here on youtube, then they morphed in time into a band called The Rockets who Neil asked to back him, Neil Changed their name from The Rockets to Crazy Horse .So they were making good music even as a vocal group then, The Rockets before Neil came along! There are also several Rockets tunes on youtube but these would be The Rockets from 1968 because there is another Rockets on youtube a band from Detroit ,a different group.
She was. He dumped her after 38 years and married Darryl Hannah. Pegi got cancer and died shortly thereafter, 2018, I think. Neil and Darryl lived happily ever after.
