One the best dialogues I've ever heard in my life about big actors.. "ajgar ke gale mein chachundar... na nigla jata hai, na ugla jata hai". Only Anuraag Basu could have said this.
Anurag basu tries to touch common human emotions in less words but he has a specific genre, he addresses the old time story and shows an era of 1950-70s in which character struggles to overcome their inner conflicts.
he is a good director .. and ofcourse not a typical Bollywoodish film maker, but what he is saying about his film " Life in a Metro" is completely wrong... it is a scene by scene copy of The Apartment , a 1960 American film co-written, produced and directed by Billy Wilder, and which stars Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine, and Fred MacMurray. He added few character like Dharmendra's character......Irfan Khan etc...
With all due respect he has made some of the worst films for example Murder.......a film like Murder started the deterioration of Hindi Cinema....the only reason this guy is sitting here is because of only 1 film he made and that is Barfi which was a CUT COPY PASTE (not a lot of people know that)......he has to achieve more to sit at this platform........does not deserve this place yet.... He is lucky to sit and talk in such a prestigious chat show where intellects come and talk....
In the last 4 minutes he won my heart and I can understand what Dada is thinking. Love you Dada!
Anurag basu makes films based on true emotions and the artificial people can't understand it.best director and writer 😊
अनुराग जैसे निर्देशक ही हिन्दी सिनेमा को नए मुकाम पे ले जाएंगे, शानदार बातचीत ..बेबाक और रोचक।
I Was Into A Nostalgic Experience To Find ANURAG BASU Driving Old Blue Lambretta Scooter In BHILAI, The Place Where He Had Passed His Childhood......
