JARO FIESTA 2023 | Coronation of NSTRA. SRA. DE LA CANDELARIA

The Coronation of Nuestra Sra de la Candelaria de Jaro.
After the mass, the procession started from the Jaro Cathedral going to the Archbishops Palace to recieve the crown of Candelaria. There were tribes dancing to dinagyang beats and people who joined the procession shouted with praise "Viva La Virgen".
The procession ended to Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral with the crowning of Candelaria. People gathered in front of the church and said there solemn prayers. The church bell rang continuously and it ended with the dance of the dinagyang warriors.
This is the Start of the Annual Jaro Fiesta held every February 2 in honor of Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria de Jaro. #jarofiesta
