The body is resilient but you have to know how to listen to it and how to maintain +service it, according to each individual's level of activity and stress placed upon their own body. I recently felt like i had arthritis in my hip joint. I tried training through it and the pain got worse and started moving all around the areas of the joint. i tried new exercises and warm ups to strengthen weak parts surrounded the injured area. Soon i realised that i needed not to do impact exercise at all. No running, jumping, kicking, squating or lifting heavy. Basically everything my favourite sports involved continuously. It took me 2 years for the pain to disappear. I started only doing low impact movements like yoga and stretching. Some rope rolling. Shadow boxing with no footwork. Some cycling and walking. Swimming is a good one too. Tai chi also. I had to focus my energy on basic movements again. Running pain free and slowly. Activating my non dominant side of the body and brain, to help equal out the weight distribution on both my right and left sides 50/50. I've been able to return to normal exercise now but at a much lower pace and intensity. I'm not competing at all and the aim is always to leave enough in my gas tank for another day, be it a week, or 2 or 4 further down the line. Life is a marathon buddy and the only competition is with yourself. Learn and adapt but don't hold on to routines that have brought you to where you are today, if they feel like they damage yourself. Find new adventures you never thought you'd discover and roll with life's punches. I think Tyson said it about Cus D'amato that he believed the human body is for nothing more than for carrying the brain around. The brain is all you need to succeed to keep moving forward.
Thanks for sharing your story Seb! I'm glad to hear that you're doing better. I highly appreciate your advice. Hope things will get better :) Wish you the best!
@@noACLguy No worries bud. Don't give up and find a work around that best suits your present situation. Maybe you can find mini versions of games/sports that can see you by, until you figure out effective treatments or remedies long term. Teqball, Futsal, Table tennis, snooker/pool, archery, darts, motorsports etc can be enjoyable without destroying yourself. Maybe you could finance a transplant cadaver replacement for your missing knee ligament over time. Maybe train your non injured wrist to help compensate for what the injured one cannot do currently. Every obstacle is a challenge that you must overcome to keep moving forward. A natural progression but father time comes to us all eventually. We all want top results and to be the best we can be. But take satisfaction in small, slight victories while learning a new route to achieve your goals. Watch a film called, Bleed for this about boxer Vinny Paz. His boxing career was quite inspirational. Or the Hurricane about Ruben Carter, another good story about injustice. You'll be good mate, dont worry and slow down. Enjoy the journey and don't worry about reaching the destination.
You still have your strength inside you, bro!
Thank you Stefano!

Hey Jakob! It's been a while... great videos ... I use your ideas but change somewhat to accommodate seniors. Rob from Silverfox Fitness
Hey Rob, I appreciate you stopping by 👍 how are you doing?
I’m trying to make more videos again :) best wishes from Paris (I’m on vacation) 😊
@@noACLguy Hope you're having a blast in Paris! Keep making videos! I like what you do and your style. How do you make $$?
Fight arthritis by building up the muscles around the joint!
Thank you, Paris was nice 😊
Building muscle is really soo important. I was not working out for almost 2 years after my injuries. Now I’m back and it feels good 🦾
