It's weird what magic can be worked with memory storage on things like the gba, this videos is in 1080p so I'd hazard a guess the file size for the video is roughly 5000x bugger than the game itself which is only about 5.6mb

at the end I switched Metabee/Rokusho to the back and used a female tin pet, added Neutranurse Head, Peppercat's arms and the quickest legs i had... then used Neutranurse's invincibility and blasted the other medabot with electric shocks until they fell, you would be impressed with how much damage can peppercat's arms do up close and personal.while your medabot couldn't be stopped from doing so.
if you took this game's 2d beat em up combat, polished it a little and used it as the combat system for the rpg versions, i honestly believe this franchise could've at least competed with pokemon in the early 2000s when its tv show was doing well
I remember being a kid and didn’t knowing you had to add attachments to the metabots and I would always lose 😂😂😂. Once I learned how to actual play, this was easily one of my favorite gba games of all time
If a new Medabots game is ever made, I think it should be in a style similar to Pokken Torunament. I feel Medabots could adapt to that play style perfectly.
The dev of this game and the RPG GBA one, Imagineer, just released a New Medabots mobile game in Japan with the same combat stype as the RPG game. Its called Medabots S (Or Medarot S in Japan) I suggest giving it a try. Its a mobile gacha game tho.
My team consists of two female tinpets Medals Metabees Ver Ill use Kabuto Devil Rokusho Ver Ill use Kuwagata Bear (sorry for spelling these names i got from the series.) The strategy neutinurse heads peppercat arms\brass arms Snowbros legs I'll use the head medapart to make me invincible for a few seconds I'll get my partner the command to use the head media part as well we both invincible for a few seconds While invincible we both attack with pepper cats arms causing the A.I to slow down. make sure your level is high before using this strategy, you can still die.
Are there any games like this? All I see are smash bros clones where you fight to push people out of the screen, but where are the customization platformer brawlers where you can kill other people in PVP?
I like metabee version because it has Kabuto medal, most op in my opinion. But I'd rather play rokushu ver because Rokusho is strong early game and comes as a good support end and maybe mid game. But hey thats just me

This game is really fun, but the AI is extremely brutal, ruthless, and merciless towards the end. I don't know if it's just me though.
The difficulty level in the game is on point. I'll give you that.

I had to complete this game without being able to use guard since both my left and right trigger was not working. It was painful but fun :D

The Medabots Girls Mission game is close to what you mentioned, but it was only released in Japan. On the Citra emulator the game works just fine.

Megabyte Punch is like a combo of this and Smash. It also has a megaman-style campaign.

Yes it was, it was fast paced, damage piled on quickly, and certain attacks could literally end you in one shot.
