34:14 why does the explosion hit through azami? did mystic just let go too early like himecut suggests at 35:25?
Yeah
It may have been from the chip damage of the weird block interaction of azami (e.g. Ino's overdrives or being attacked by two different types of attack at the same time: Minion attack + explosion). You can see the blue hint of a block happening if you slow down the video. You can choose to make this happen when you are tilting the stick into block position and let go of azami stance during the "azami string" but not sure why arcsys makes this also occur when attacked by two different attacks even while in neutral azami.
Hits which occur too rapidly (near simultaneous) will knock you out of azami into block.
@Coup, The weird thing is that azami does not convert into block during Ino's grounded overdrive: Longing Depression if you're tilting your stick backwards as if to block. But it converts into block if you do a neutral azami(no directional inputs), which makes me think there is some sort of interaction error.
Do these tournaments still go on or nah? Im super new to Xrd so i figured id ask. These are super fun to watch and they teach me alot❤
