Yeah, Barcelona Orbs beating Raimon in reloaded was just as impressive as Gemini Storm beating Raimon at start of season 2. Inakuni Raimon had problems with teams from FF, some of them were weaker than season 1 one's, some only got a bit stronger and only a few deserve to be placed in the levels between or around end of season 1/start of season 2. Without going too deep into it, i would assume that Shadow of Orion is anywhere between end of season 2/start of season 3 tier, possibly lower. Although, that's just my opinion.

Original Inazuma Japan is way more powerful than Inazuma Japan in Orion. Inazuma Japan in Orion is just a mixture of various players who just shine for a single episode while almost all players in original get to shine and develop for much time. Also they literally went through hell to get that much stronger.

Besides, they can rewamp the game to allow that, it's not like they would use the same engine from ds/3ds games
IE Orion is extremely underrated. IE Orion has a better plot than the OG and Shadow of Orion is an under-appreciated team. Like, 3 or 4 Shadow of Orion players were able to stop Last Resort Sigma with their feet. Last Resort Sigma is on the same level as X-Blast, Stargazer, Chaos Break, Shellbit Burst and some other shoot hissatsus.
