I forgive the number of childhood friends that freaked out (swore and yelled at me) when I had no more energy to give them and their dramas after my son was born. In hindsight I realised they were “energy vampires” but I really don’t like that phrase as I think they were unconscious of it, and just took for granted someone that gave them unconditional acceptance and love.
