California’s worst fire in history was in 2018 and they learned nothing except to have the utility companies cut power when it’s high winds. A big garden took care of veggies. And we picked berries and my Mother canned. Life was practically carefree. I would definitely miss my memory foam bed topper!

i miss the 70's. we were carefree, had good jobs, partied in disco's all night long, not one regret because our lives were not on social media. wedge heels, flaired jeans and nobody had perfect interior decorating. we bought what we could afford and had to wait and save for more expensive items. live musicals and bands were affordable. friends and family were priorities.

I'd like to live in the mid 80s to mid 90s. Mostly because of the music, but also for the food. The 90s for the fashion and the music. Life also seems easier looking back,maybe that's just an illusion.
The things Id miss most would be RUclips and Messenger.
I was lucky enough to live a house with two bathrooms , utility room garage in the east end of London.Family of 8 didn’t go without anything because if my parents hard work, what I miss most is the community spirit of the neighbourhood everyone knowing and looking out for each other. Bobby on the beat. Saturday morning shows of The Osmonds.
I liked the 60’s. No trash on television..or the theatres. No foul language (forgiving Clark Gable in Gone with the Wind). Life was simpler. Families stayed together. Divorce was prevalent. And, just about all families attended church together. The stores and restaurants were closed on Sunday, and the world view was focused on God. And groceries were affordable. I remember having bread for 19 cents a loaf, Hamburger was .29, and sometimes chicken would be around 19. At Thanksgiving there would be turkey “wars”, and we would fill up the freezer at .09 lb. A big garden took care of veggies. And we picked berries and my Mother canned. Life was practically carefree. I would definitely miss my memory foam bed topper!
