I love Gladius, such a fun game! Really thrilled to see it reviewed here. I agree with Tom, you can absolutely feel the love and effort that was put into creating this game!
I would love this but one member (my dad) of my regular little group is a non gamer and since it has hidden information he may not know what the wording on the card means, I'm always on the look out for new bidding game. I do have camel up.
This one looks like fun. How would you compare it to The Alpha as far as setting up or "bidding" each round and then having a quick payoff? My game group found The Alpha to be insufferable when played with 5-6 people but entertaining for 3-4
T'was a great Kickstarter and it's looking great! Props to the devs.

Did I miss something as to why component drops were stopped?
Someone asked this in a q and a a while ago and I remember Tom mentioning they aren't gone forever, but I don't remember hearing a reason.
Well done

I think I'd rather drink a glass mixed with Iocaine powder.
Sure it looks pretty, and diverting...
Maybe if there were Giants...
I like the artwork, but the game doesn't make me feel like gladiators competing. More of just a number salad.

Yay, Dave! I want him to win, too! 👏👏👏
No component drop 🙁
no component drop anymore...?!
I like the component scan better. Helps me look at everything in the game better. Out with the old, in with the new
This feels exactly like cheaty mages
Was just about to say this. It's basically the same game. Theme wise it reminds me a lot of Sponsio (which I prefer to Cheaty Mages)
@@RichMulholland I'm told by another reviewer that this is drastically more streamlined than Cheaty Mages
I thought so as well
Even going so far to include vitiligio (skin disorder causing loss of pigment) in the art work on the characters, well done.
I LOVE ITTTTT!!!
I remember when this was originally called Cheaty Mages.
This remindes me a lot of Cheaty Mages by Seiji Kanai
My copy will show up eventually
