Lyrics:
From ghetto to ghetto, to backyard to yard
I sell it whip on whip, it's off the hard
I'm the...neighborhood pusha
Call me subwoofer, 'cause I pump base like that, Jack
On or off the track, I'm heavy cuz
Ball 'til you fall cause you could duck to the fetti govs
Sorry my love, what I'm seeing through these eyes
Biz convoys with the wagon on the side
Only big boys keep deuces on the ride
Gucci Chuck Taylor with the dragon on the side
Man, I make a buck, why scram?
I'm trying to show y'all who the fuck I am
The jewels is flirting me, damned if I'm hurting
Legend in two games like I'm Pee Wee Kirkland
Platinum on the block with consistent hits
While Pharrell keep talking this music shit
......Grindin'! (Ahhh)
......Grindin'! (Ahhh)
Grindin'! (Ahhh)
Grindin'! (Ahhh)
Grindin'! (Ahhh)

Man this beat is crazy. Never think we will get tracks like this anymore
Nope
The mountain climbers are the worst to play as in super smash bros. This beat sounds like it's climbing.
Nah, dope shit like this stopped ~2012.. not to say there aren't some fire tracks here and there but man '95-2010 had all the bangers before everything became trap and autotune
@@ysn12288 facts!
@@ysn12288 che noir, ransom, Boldy James. So many incredible emcees out nowadays. Just ain’t radio hits. Like this one was.
The Neptunes created some timeless pieces. Way ahead of their time! Clipse went crazy on their beats. Also, Kelis with the la la’s still gets me!
The "la la la la la la lalalah" part from Kelis ✊🏿
"Was it my whip appeal or ....my babyface" is still a banger 😎
Or - Whip it pill...(?) LMAO
"Whip Appeal" is a song by Babyface so it's a clever play on words .
Hell yeah. Just heard that line😂
Pusha T never fell off, he's been consistent all of these years.
Lawrence Duncan 2018 comment still true
he is now better then ever
still... how's he doin it?
TGBNK I
Cant think of anyone really want beef wit push
one of the most underrated hip hop duos in the game. I don't think they ever got their full due that they rightfully earned.
Nope, they never got it but they live on baby
Pusha t got tons of recognition. You crazy?
@@joshsmith-uy5iw”duo”
This is probably one of the best intros ever. That beat is sick
crazy intro
I know I’m late af, but that is literally my favorite part of this song. Shit sound like nothing else. Insane.
I agree
Top down chrome spinning
man.... that shit was so wild in the club back then. And it still goes.
one of the most iconic hip hop beats ever
This beat is still sick!
+Danielle Sims Hell yeah
Fuck yea
D Sims Faq yea!!
Better than any shit out now!
As always.
The neptunes beats always 🔥🔥
" Top down chrome spinning" One of the most iconic openings to a track in the 2000s.
Dammit man, I miss tracks like this! Pharrell and Clipse do not miss under any circumstances.
luv when Kelis comes in at 2:17
Facts.
People don't understand how 🔥🔥🔥 this was back in the day.
Yup especially on the radio. It got major airplay 😂
Pharel gotta be the original dude from twilight who never aged . I'm sure hes like 593 years old but looks like a consistent 23 year old
ahahahah
Guy is older than both my parents and looks 25 tops 😂😂
now even Nas don't age😂
😅
Pharrel made a classic beat from a fax machine sound let that sink in!!!
pharrel was a genius
Lol
😂😂
Adam Johnson I was gonna say that!
Adam Johnson 🔥🔥
I miss the early 2000's with Pharrell/Cipse.
I AGREE SO MUCH WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
best era forsure...
No Malice and Pusha T still put out solid albums, tho. There is a track called "Shame the Devil" from a few years ago that show that together, Clipse still got that spark
Pusha T still makes amazing music
I think he's referring to when Pharrell & Clipse worked extensively
One of my favorite beats ever
This was that work!
Wish I can go back to these days;
👇🏻
2022 still on my playlist ! Kelis is humming that “La-La-La-LaLalala” ♥️
THE WORLD NEED MUSIC LIKE THIS BACK!
One of the tracks they played a lot during my clubbing days in college!
2002
Sabrina hottie :)
@sabrinaina4•: Whaddup wit'cha mama?
This beat was used in almost every MTV program when MTV was still lit lmao. Iconic song
I knew this beat sounded familiar damn MTV lol
Memories 🤔😢
This song is still hot, this video put me on to "Virginia", one of the hardest tracks on Lord Willin. I miss the 90s/2000s
Virginia thumps.
@@hab2771 don't it though
Trust
@@hab2771 damn straight
Missy, Timberland
Music has changed so much...
for the worse too
Lioness Es Nah pusha t still makes amazing music
Lioness Es that's life
Girll hmm i don't even listen to modern music. I always go back to that old school.
Marry me to this song😘
Lol Clipse was the shit back then. This shit will never die to. Classic !
This SLAPPPPPPPs 🔥
The intro alone is iconic!!!
this beat is a club banger they don't make music like this anymore.
I couldn’t even imagine listening to todays “hip hop” in a club. Most shit was wack when this came out and went further and further down hill. This one’s a banner for sure. And Pharrell’s production is almost always banging, even when the vocalist/lyrics are sub par.
I can see fat moms vibing to this in shady clubs lmao
2002
this album went gold, and Aubrey was on the disney channel.
What a time to be alive
Remus Alexandru you talking about drake?
he was never on disney channel lol
its joke dude
It's you and yours..
@@kaylabey yea he was he was on that show where he's in a wheelchair
The mami and her tongue at 1:12 is the greatest video duo of all time!!!!!!!!!!
U ain't never lied cuzzo
Skateboard P had the perfect beats for that early 2000s sound whether Hip-Hop, R&B, or Pop. Bruh is versatile af 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Kelis in there.
Homegirl added the la, la, la's...
hip hop was so much better back then.
Reginald Westbrook
Only if someone writes that punch for him first...
Reginald Westbrook gtfo of here with ur "hip hops dead im old as fuck so i buttfuck my self to mob deep and eazy e because gucci man & kanye west make music that i dont like & imma go cry on the internet after"
Reginald Westbrook Hip-hop didn't die you are just a close minded fuck. Like seriously that is the dumbest fucking thing to say ever, it evolves, ALL MUSIC CHANGES. Shit doesn't die it became a little different, now adapt and quit your bitching.
Real hip hop ! This track is crazy
2:35 my absolute favorite part of the video!!! 😂😂😂😂
love hearing REAL MUSIC
compare this to young thug
Samantha Derrick u don't have to feel anything for me. Study ur music I didn't say this was only REAL MUSIC.
yo don't start arguing with a woman because of her musical taste.
you see, niggas calling themselves niggas removed the racial tention about the word. Bitches calling themselves bitches would do the same if not for overbearing feminism....well whatever. This IS real music: Beat, Lyrics, flow asat
get down
So why the fuck were you on this video in the first place?
" Her head spinnin' and my head spinnin',mine from juice and ginnin',hers from neck and chinnin', Imma a winner man".....
Love it !!!!
Ok ?! !!!! Cmon man !!
When this dropped in the clubs... Everyone went crazy!
💯👍🏾
Word.
what a fresh and unique sound they was doing in that years
can't believe this doesn't have more views ...
Its censored that's why
This song was & still is 🔥
Shhhaaawwwtttaaayy!!! actually started a rap career that birth most "lil" and "Mumble" rappers.
Right! 😂 😂 😂 💜💜💜
2:50 Man who are you? Shawwty! Who are you Pillsbury dough man lol
Such a classic, timeless gem!!!
Anybody remember mixed cd's era lol!
I think i had this joint on one of mine...memories
im still doing mix cds. Im making a 2002 hip hop hits mix cd double album right now. I already made 1999 hip hop hits mix. ima do 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, and 2003. Rap started to get a lil suspect around 2004. but it was at its peak from 1997-2003
nick booth I want to listen to those
nick booth ikr.
I sure do lol
I had this on a Best of the Neptunes mix that I gave to a boyfriend in the early 2000s. All his friends loved that mix. Neptunes were the shit!
That beat kills the same way like back in the days
One of the best Hip Hop albums of the era. I was at Fort Hood as a soldier. I remember picking this cd up at the PX. By the time I got to my boys crib I knew it was a classic. I have no idea what it is to be influenced by what's hot, or what other people thought. If I think it's dope to me, that's all I ever needed. At this point I own a lot of music. I own all of the Clipse albums and most of their mixtapes. I don' t anything by Nelly or anyone out of that camp. Just because it's popular doesn't mean it's good, especially in this era.
That's dope but what you mean by that, Nelly is trash? I prefer pusha t over Nelly but Nelly was an absolute monster in his time when it came to making hits. I wouldn't even compare the two..just not sure why you chose Nelly to make him seem like he was garbage
Nellyville is still a bop
2000s rap had club bangers with bars . Nowadays you only get one or the other
This came out back when I was a junior in high school, and I looked forward to this song’s position on 106 & Park!!!
You better have stuck around for Bruce Bruce and Reynaldo Ray on Comic View
Kelis🎤 🤯🔥🖤
this song is a classic
2:22 - That brotherly love tho
Damn, watching all these 90's and early 00's rap videos....This new generation just can't kick it the same.

I used to rewind my CD for this song…… damn man I want this type of music back ❤️❤️❤️
"Who are you? Pillsbury doughman" LOLOL
Bruh THE BEST INTRO EVER
Can’t believe Pusha hates this song lol
INEEDTHAT ENT why is that?
DontPanicrs he did an interview and said he hates the beat
When's the last time we heard it like this? Not for a long time!

Pharell and pusha have came a long long way

medal detector underground you can find it if you look under the top soil
SystemSyko no way nostaliga and being a teenager is overrated. Hormones, acne, confusion, underdeveloped frontal cortex. Best years come later when you know something. You can still listen to music whenever, whatever you like.

I Remember Playing NFL Fever On Xbox & Hearing This Beat . Classic Throwback 👌🏾💯
A good song isn't just something you listen to, it puts you in another world. I'm not sure what world this song put me in back in the day, but I liked it. :)
My nigga every time I listen to this song. It takes me back to that same world I saw you there all in years ago 😂

2:36!!! 😂 😂 😂 I swear, I remember the first time I saw this video, I was falling asleep watching it and I thought that part was in my dreams. 😂 😂 😂 😂
Lol I remember being in middle school when Lord Willin' dropped. This could have been the first CD I ever bought, and to this day, I regret not buying it when I had the chance in '02. CD's were like $20 at the time. I saved up all my money to buy a CD and it came down to Nellyville and Lord Willin....
and I chose NELLYVILLE. Whhyyyyy?! (Kenan voice)
ctfu
***** I can't lie though, that Nellyville album had some joints. I had it on repeat in the anti-skip CD player, ya feel me? lol But yeah I agree, the late 90s-early 2000s was golden. My favorite era of hip hop. The music videos are still dope to this day.
fail.
Nellyville did go 8x Platinum & won album of the year
Marcus Holman nothing wrong. with that. Lord willin was hard though
Hands down. These two boys from Virginia were the best Hip Hop Rap Duo in History. Yes, I see them above Outkast. They never fell off.
D. Nagasaki that's your opinion. these guys def got skill. however I think mobb deep the best duo ever. all opinions though based on preference
Mobb Deep
@@HipHopmusic759 yo if you like mobb deep then check out the new video I uploaded. Top 10 Prodigy Verses. I can totally understand how someone puts Mobb Deep as his nr 1! But ya, I am still mad in love with clipse :P

Jamal Greenfield I knew I wasn't alone lol one of the best games of its era.
The 2000s were the best times of Music, Way better than the stuff out nowadays
So much better even the pop bs songs of the 2000s we're so much better than any modern songs in 2020s.
Malice on the last verse was in peak form. ...."Her head spinning and My head's spinning/mine from juice and gining/hers from the engine/ and I'm a winner man/ delivery was A1
Correction - “Hers from neck and chinin’”, but yes Malice killed that last verse 🔥
The way Pusha T came in with the first line oo wee
