Red Eyes has always been the side man of the three decks. Just look at the way the archetype is still awkwardly constructed on top of receiving middling support instead of good or even decent cards.
Didn't they just come out with Red Eyes support... Full metal heck even Light and Darkness dragons can support Red Eyes.

I think the easiest way to summon him is in a Dogmatika deck where you can rip out over half of your opponents extra deck and set up a good board in the process. Really fun deck.

@@rhymestyle yeah you play 3 ultimate fusion, 3 bingo machine and 3 triple tactics thrust, so it's actually pretty consistent getting him out and if you can't you still got good plays.

Magia is like an Ace in the hole in a Blue-Eyes deck when the main combo fails. I use a Neo Blue-Eyes OTK and send Blue-Eyes Ultimate to the graveyard with it. If the OTK doesn't work I can always try for Magia.

Same. With some dogmatika cards tainting my blue eyes deck it makes summoning Magia easier. But I prefer the changes to be minimal.
I saw this archetype, and immediately tried summoning for my BLS, Blue-Eyes, and Magician ritual-based deck. I want the Magia!

The card ultimate fusion says It says must have “blue eyes ultimate dragon” or “blue eyes white dragon” mentioned but it doesn’t say the fusion has to be between those same mentioned cards just the cards mentioned on the overall text. Otherwise you wouldn’t be able to even use a chaos card with ultimate fusion since it’s isn’t explicitly mentioned
Yeah exactly. It SHOULD work that way, but it doesnt. You can try it too in MD. It doesnt let you use 3 blue eyes monsters.
Here’s hoping that it’s supposed to work that way and it’s just a coding error that it doesn’t 🤞

First part of ultimate fusion:
During the Main Phase: Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that mentions "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" as material
Because dragon master magia mentions blue eyes ultimate dragon as a material that means dragon master magia should be a selectable target
The next part…
by shuffling the Fusion Materials listed on it from your hand, field, and/or GY into the Deck, then, you can destroy face-up cards your opponent controls, up to the number of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" used from the field as material.
No where in the card text says blue eyes ultimate dragon or blue eyes white dragon are required materials just that the card you bring has to “mention” them as materials.
But yeah here’s hoping 🤞 it’s a bug that can be fixed

Honestly my first thoughts into making Dragon Master Magia was to literally send the pieces for it to the graveyard, so then you could use Dragon's Mirror or Necro Fusion or even Ultimate Fusion. Since Black Magician of Chaos, Magician of Black Chaos MAX, Black Luster Soldier, Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier, and Black Luster Soldier - Legendary Swordsman are level 8 so we can use things like Trade-In when we have them in hand. Where as Illusion of Chaos and Magician of Chaos are level 7. So all we needed to do was find ways to send Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon from Extra Deck to grave and we have a myriad of cards that do that.
I'm actually thinking of Dragon's Ravine for Blue-Eyes cards as well.
Well you can go 3x Dragon Shrine that helps plus running successor soul,Majesty with Eyes of Blue and Melody getting materials to grave/hand are easy problem lies if they have Ash turn one or another negate disruption

Been a blue eyes player for 22 years. Since this release, my best luck at summoning has been out of luck turn 1 and regularly turn 2. Lucky way is drawing regular poly, get 3 blue eyes cards and chaos max dragon in hand after card effects

I love the classic cards getting support, it’s always so refreshing to see the cool cards do their thing instead of the same meta decks with the exact same end board every time
It'll be significantly easier to bring out in a Blue-Eyes deck once the new support drops. Prayers with Eyes of Blue in particular can let you bring it out on its own as long as you have a way to bring out vanilla Blue-Eyes or Alternative
For anyone wondering:
Use Prayers to search White Stone of Ancients and Ultimate Fusion
Use any method to bring out vanilla Blue-Eyes or Alternative
Banish Prayers to Equip Ultimate Dragon to Blue-Eyes
Normal Summon Stone -> Synchro into Spirit (Thus sending the equiped BEUD to grave)
During end phase:
Activate Stone, summon Abyss
Activate Abyss, search Chaos MAX
Play UF and summon Magia using the BEWD in grave and chaos MAX in hand
Good thing Maxx c is in the game. Your fire king opponent wouldn't have stood a chance against your tier -1 dragon magia deck without it. We need Maxx c to allow these Rouge decks a chance

Its going to be a lot easier to summon in the ocg soon because of the new ultimate dragon synchros float effect
You can literally use any Hex Rock or any card that can be sub for a fusion material that specifically says that cards name as a fusion material.

P.S...Ultimate Fusion is not the worst fusion spell in the game..that title belongs to Red-Eyes Fusion lmao. Being locked out of summoning for the rest of the turn, especially if it gets Ashed, is way too harsh of a drawback for the modern day especially if cards like Branded Fusion, Shaddoll Fusion, Ancient Gear Fusion, and even Neos Fusion exist that also use materials from the deck😅

Rhyme spent alot of this episode wondering why his opponent did something that doesn't make sense, forgetting the reason is that yugioh players do not read their own cards
It is ways to bring it out easy lol. One way is Cyber Stein the fusion card doesn't restrict you into being the only way. You can also use king of the swamp. People forget this card can be used to replace Blue-eyes ultimate dragon. Only problem is it isn't a search able card. So a deck that mill cards like Tearlaments could help. Dragon's mirror and any fusion card that will summon a dragon fusion card can help. If the card gets destroyed i think the best option is the synchro blue eyes or something that will be useful. Blues ultimate dragon isn't the card you want to bring out lol.
For Damage Step, only cards that alter ATK/DEF points can be activated. Monster negates like Magia can be activated as well. Counter Trap cards like Solemn Judgment can also be activated as well.
And then there’s Tenpai, who can do things like special summon and dodge ash blossom and S:P thanks to the damage step. The damage step is actually a fairly big place and can slip up Pro’s at times.
The problem with Magia’s rarity in the TCG is that it’s just a bit too playable for a chase card. It’s not garbage or impossible to make like 10 thousand dragon or magicians of bonds and unity. There are decks and hands that can make it (especially with the upcoming blue eyes support) and it’s a great boss when it hits the field. Especially when it had normal printings in the ocg. Really a scummy move by Konami to make the nostalgia bait boss that is good and playable (with upcoming support) a 500$ chase card.
Also the deck that makes it most consistent is using the dogmatika cards and finding your way to ultimate fusion, yes it’s a two card combo, but you can do it somewhat reliably.
Fusion Armament can also be used to easily summon the greatest card, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon!

Decided to throw Magia into my Horus/Gate Guardian deck for a bonus.
So something I’ve noticed, people who go out of their way to summon DMM either can’t get it out or it gets inconvenienced as it hits the field, I have it in my blue eyes deck and I don’t try to summon it but I end up inadvertently getting it like every other duel
I'm a pure blue eyes player since day 1 I was so jealous when my dad brought my brother's Yami and seto decks for Christmas and I got a video game luckily I'm 32 now and my Seto Persona takes effect when I play master duel with friends and foes
If your using the dark magician stuff to get out then you should 100% be using the toy box engine it can give you crazy card advantage
Anyone else feel like neo blue eyes ultimate dragon should be treated as blue eyes ultimate dragon when on the field or in the graveyard? Its essentially the ultimate version of blue eyes alternative white dragon and that card is treated as blue eyes white dragon while on field or in graveyard

I don’t think that works. Branded fusion sends albaz + a card. You gotta find a way to dump ultimate dragon
@@rhymestyle you’re right, but there are 2 ways to get ultimate to the grave, Granguignol, and Maximus. Granted both of those options require certain cards in hand.

Coach king giantrainer could be helpful for more gas/draw power on turn 1. Works well with the Horus engine, but susceptible to the rock.

Also this whole clause is only on Ultimate Fusion's text along with Dragon Master Magia's fusion materials. 3 "Blue-Eyes" are not "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"s and Ultimate Fusion requires "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon." Guess what you can only send back in Dragon Master Magia's case, Blue-Eyes Ultimate and the Ritual Fusion Materials.
Or else ilusion of chaos with king of the swamps and you summon Magia

You can use 3 blue eyes monsters. I've seen someone do it on master duel already. Also, using something like the dogmatika engine and nadir servant can be an easy way to get the ritual cards in your hand and ultimate dragon in the graveyard
You cant with ultimate fusion. I tried. It does not let you. That just means they used a different fusion card for magia

Im surprised this isnt the Nadir Servant combo, searching Maximus to dump Herald and Ultimate Dragon and getting the Chaos Ritual in hand. I found that version to be pretty ok in Blue Eyes since you can search the Ultimate Fusion pretty easily(although Illusion of Chaos is probably a better card to search of Herald so DM might STILL be a better choice.).
I havent pulled it yet but i wasnt chasing it at all in the new sub set. I got all of my infernoid support from opening packs so i am just ready to play again
Nadir Servant combo is pretty cool, but playing the card without Nadir is based as fuck

After making this video, I was shown the ways of fusion tag. So I threw in fusion tag as another and more consistent way
@rhymestyle Way to keep it original, and you're right about it not being as optimal. There's a card that's not on Master duel that is a dark magician card, it's on Legacy of the Duelist; it's called Dark Magician Of Chaos Black MAX. It's basically the Choas Max version of Dark Magician of Chaos, it's pretty crazy and I think that card being used as the Chaos monster, and being used in tangent with the deck would be nuts
One thing that makes magia worse in masterduel is lack of ultimate spirit dragon and the fact there is no ultimate alternative dragon

I’m running it with branded right now and i’m able to get it out within the first 2 turns, also added a neo to my extra deck so if they pop it i get to summon neo for free

the new Blue-eyes deck can summon it 10 time easier and you can even do an FTK
I find it way easier to play it in a DM deck…it’s just easier to mill through the deck.
