Good evening Brian and the community. Hope everyone had a good Easter. Here in Clarendo, Jamaica, we have been getting some good rain for about four hours or more, on and on. My mango and other trees welcome these rains. Other parts of the island are hot and clear but I guess it's because we are at the bottom and the rain is coming from below. Thanks for keeping us updated through the year and not just during hurricane season.
Good afternoon, Brian, and thanks for this update. We desperately need the rain in Trinidad. In my neck of the woods (north west), we got no rain yesterday. Somewhat overcast conditions have been present, more so yesterday than today, which is extremely hot with no clouds in sight. I’m seeing the available precipitable moisture on the maps covering us, but nothing to show for it so far 😔 Really praying that we’ll get rain soon. Many thanks to you and your team. On Sunday and Monday we in North Port of Spain saw dark clouds, experienced a fine drizzle or two, however, this Tuesday morning the glorious sound of rain greeted me, the birds. plants and trees are happy,so am I. A few videos back yoy presented the long term forecast, show rain will pick up from April. So so done. this morning it was a joy to see the rain clouds and did get some rain on this first day of April.
