Bought these this week from amazon. Great overnight del. System easy to set up apart from email alerts. Bit tricky. Need gmail and also need to allow less secure apps on google. Link on suppliers website. Easy fix one click and bang messages coming into phone. Well pleased. Adjusted cameras at night to get IR in right place. Sorted
For everyone watching this and is thinking what harddrive to buy, buy a WD Purple drive in the size you need. They're made for surveilliance footage and can take data being written to it 24/7-365.
Just bought this system and installed it at a Pizza Place to replace the really old system they had, it was definitely an upgrade from having old Samsung black and white ones that used phone wire and an old small projection tv screen that was going out that didn't even record. The think that was nice about upgrading with this system is how it uses computer data cables (CAT5e) which is becoming a more and more common cable for security cameras, so when the owner decides to upgrade, they can reuse the data cables and just switch out the box and cameras. It is nice to have one cable that will provide power and the data for the cameras. The box software isn't too bad, it can be a little confusing. You can set recording rules, like when for it to be on or off or all the time, and you can also set alarms if one goes off-line etc. I stumbled across with the app on a smart phone when you have a screen connected via HDMI cable with audio capabilities, you can push a button and talk through it to people by the screen. Be sure if you buy this system to change the default login password.
I''m glad that you figured out how to secure the HDD to the base. you can tell you never built a computer before, because you had a hard time. Next time just use the mounting screw holes that are in the bottom of the HDD with any of the holes that are in the box. great video, keep up the good work bud.
bjizzle412 thanks for the comment much appreciated. Yes true, but the reason I was confused about mounting the hard disk was that I read some reviews on Amazon about this before buying and some of the reviews said there was no way of attaching the drive to the case and some people actually stuck it down with tape. So I assume that was the case in this situation. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
then those people didnt know what they was doing! haha are you still using this system today and how is it working out for you? im about to order my system this weekend. how hard was it to run all your wires and did you end up cutting them and put them back together like you said?
bjizzle412 yes I am still running the system all is good. It was easy to run the cables and yes I cut the connectors and crimped a new connector i didn't want to drill a massive hole.
If you look on the top silver side of the hdd there's holes which will line up with the holes on the bottom of the chassis to screw it down. The holes on the bottom of the chassis are for 3.5 inch drives the wider spread holes and 2.5 inch drives the smaller spread holes

i got mine off ebay, i got it totally hooked up yesterday its pretty decent. from 10 feet away you get a pretty clear shot. but if your aiming 3 doors down to cover a wide area your not going to see license plate numbers or clear face shots. but i paid only 150$ and it came with a 1tb hard drive. and paid another 30 for 4 100 foot cable sets just to make sure i wasnt short any wire. took me a day to set the cameras up and about 9 hours to do all the wiring because i had problems drilling a giant hole in my house on my roof lol. but for 150$ its great imo. i also got it to work with 2 tvs. its prob not the absolute best system but for me its what i wanted. i can glance at my screen and see if anyone is at my front door, back door, garage, or trying to sneak through the lot next door and i have alot of problems with my neighbors destroying our area so i can now make a compilation of the crap they do and send it to the police since we have ahorrible police repsond time (took them 3 hours to show up yesterday). if you look on my page in the uploads, find a video about 2 tvs, and then look at the info under it, i copy and pasted the exact name of the camera i bought from ebay so people can find it if they want to by one.
Nice. I still am under 18. But I won't have trouble. I'll get a ladder in the house and tape the cord to the roof, make one guard outside my garage since we have already had 2 crashes in my street this year.
Is this better than the incosky security system? I just bought it and I haven't set it up yet. It doesn't even come with a remote but it does have a hard drive 1TB. Should I choose a different one ?

Sannce suppose to be an onvif compatible, but it wont search for IP cameras other then its own. The cameras it came with is pretty plug and play but adding other cameras is a pain. The cables it comes with are patch cables and are to flex to crimp well. Just cut your own cable.
Thanks for the comment. Actually I have tried with other systems which are onvif compatible and it does work but just to note a couple of things. On the onvif camera you may have to enable onvif, on the NVR you will probably have to manually setup the onvif camera and ensure the the correct username and password is entered if the onvif camera has a very high resolution which if higher that what the NVR can support you will need to lower the resolution. It does work but generally not plug and play.
one more question please, the unit is sold with 2 different resolutions/camera quality, one is 1080p same as yours full HD and the other is 1280 x 960 which is a little more than half HD or HD ready. Not sure if you have any experience of the lower resolution cameras? there's a good £90 price difference, therefore i am wondering whether its worth going for the higher resolution cameras or not? what would you suggest? help appreciated.
+Asim Sheikh I've see a 960 resolution camera and it's ok nothing bad but if you see the 1080 one you can tell the difference the 1080 one is crystal clear. But like I said it's nothing major.
GREAT VIDEO!!!! I also have to say, un-boxing the complete product with only one hand was really impressive...LOL... Thank you so much for the informative video!!!!
I am a real need of an 8ch system. do you guys recommend the SANNCE system? most important for me is the remote access via cellphone. Is it easy to be done with this system?
Shaun V yes definitely a good budget system. The remote access app is good but l have to admit it's does sometimes has connectivity issues but maybe that's due to my broadband or the 4g connection on my phone. But again a good system.
Hello, thank you for your time and uploading this video. I recently brought the annke PoE system, I connect everything however when I plug the HDMI cable to my laptop, nothing shows up. Do I need a software in order to monitor thru computer or I'm doing something wrong? Please let me know, thank you
+Adam Fu you can't do that because the HDMI connector on your laptop is just for output not for input. You can connect from you laptop but you would connect via a web browser to the IP address of the DVR. I have another video that shows all the different connectivity options let me know if you want to see that or you can find via my channel.
You can connect it just go to settings on laptop and then connections and devices and hdmi port make it on in port not on out port if dont have that order a male usb cable and a adapter from male usb to old monitors computers and connect that one to the dvr and the other end of usb to laptop at soon you connected pop out on screen
i got this system and it already has the monitor build in on top of the box, do you have to have the hard drive to use this system? I did not order that. And do you have to connect to internet?
@@GeekStreetSANNCE 4CH 1080N DVR 10.1'' Monitor 1080P Outdoor IR Home Security Camera System i only got 2 cameras with mine and i did not order the hard drive.
Is this system any similar to those in Aliexpress im thinking of buying the kit one more thing, can you monitor the cameras from another network by an app. Can you access the hard drive from your phone?
Hi.thank you very much.can I ask you question? Last couple of days my sannce cctv live is working but recording not working what is wrong please can you explain to me?
I want to monitor an empty house 150 miles from where I live. What would be the minimum upload internet speed needed? It's either 17Mbp ADSL or 50Mbp cable where I want to use the CCTV. There's no internet there at present so I need to sort that first!
@@GeekStreet hey man having issues with mine the cameras keeps turning off and on when I mess with the digital IP address. Sometime the camera turn on and sometimes says no config offline turn back on and off and sometimes even stays off completely
hey i bought one but the cameras are black and have dual inputs i was wondering is a hard drive really needed or can i just use my 500gb flash drive on the back?
+Daniel Jones no it will only support 4 cameras. I did contact one of the manufacturers regarding the OS to ask if it's possible to change the number of cameras the system can see they said it's not possible but I'm sure it is. The reason a say this is that I turned on two cctv systems on my home network and it was possible to see the other systems cameras on the DVR as it just scans for an IP address on your network and does not have to be connected directly to the system.
Geek Street yeh that's what I was thinking, because you can search for cameras in the setup with an IP address I wondered if more cameras were present then you might be able to add them, but not to worry, thanks for the info
i just got mine today, i got a slightly different black camera model. it doesnt have the internet cables that go to each camera it has a double wire that leads to a octapus plug power source. my question is is the internet even needed for these? the internets basically just for cloud storage right?, and maybe power if it doesnt have the octopus power cable like mine. i tested it out and just hooked the cameras to the box and then hdmi to my tv and looks like it all works ok without internet. the damn things keep flashing into night mode to whenever i walk past them i hope it doesnt do this when i hook them up outside. i cant get it to stop. i dunno if its the motion detect, or turning from day to night mode on me because they are close to me and not outside yet.
it sounds like you didn't buy the poe (power over Internet) version this is more of a hassle as you need to ensure there if electricity near each camera installation. personally I'd return and get the poe version as gives more flexibility as you don't have to worry about the location and power source. Internet is only needed if you want to view the camera's while away from your home on a smartphone
the power wont be a issue, all 4 cameras plug into one power source which will run by the video line anyways so i got that part figured out. but the remote and instructions are horrific. i tried shutting the box down and it said turn off san on the screen i had no clue how to turn it off since nothing is labeled on the remote or box. so i just turned the pwoer strip off. now when i turn it back on i get no signal at all. i hear the cameras on, see the light on the box is on. but see no signal on the screen. i wish there was one button that said power! other then that it seems pretty awesome.
TheRobloxMinecrafter // NicTRM i got mine all setup now and wired. seems to be working pretty good. i replied to your other post if u want the name etc.
I have the 4 channel one, 720P...But I have NO clue how to get the software onto my computer! Everything is hooked up, but nothing happens when I go to the xmeye website. What should I do?
Geek street can i set this up without all that port forwarding stuff ?(I'm not into computers) > I'd just like a set up of this same system I've seen on Amazon and still be able to receive Email alerts hopefully without the need to do port forwarding. Any advice would be would be appreciated. Oh! Great video you've done as well.
I have just ordered an equivalent system, was just wondering what you did in the end with the cables at the camera end with regards to drilling holes etc?
good video - thank you - just bought the system and all working ok. But all my cameras are numbered Camera 01 on the 4 screen view. I notice you have the same thing. I was expecting 01/02/03/04. Any thoughts?
+patmsweeney thanks for the comment. You can rename the cameras I did it a while ago. Look though the settings if you can't find it let me know. I find you the info.
I have installed everything. The system is pretty good but I am having a major problem trying to remotely view the system from the app. I can only view it while I am on my current network at home which is not what I want. Does anyone know if you are supposed to open up ports on your router or what because remotely I cannot access he system.
+Anthony I from my own experience I didn't have to open any ports on my router, which was a surprise. Did you register online and do that side of things?
Geek Street yes I registered. When I am connected through wifi on my own network I can access the system by the app. When I click the wifi off and try I get nothing.
I have a question for you I got the same cameras but am not able to connect to the internet on 16:26 I Seen you had the same problem so how you get to work where it has all the gateway to work great video👍
hi mate im looking at buying this is it still working ? i currently running 2mp analog cameras and looking at upgrading to 2mp poe camera think i notice a difference
If you current system is 720p and to go over to a 1080p system you will notice a slight difference but if your current system is 1080p and new one is 1080p you won't notice anything, if that's the case then don't bother upgrading.
Jesus man, is the hard disk coming with the package or you bought separately, i killed myself to found out from your video but i could not find anything about it. pleeeeeeeease!!!
i got the annk one, looks the same as yours, but i got the power cable female come out from the camera, they said it is POE, but it got a power cable , i dont know what to do
So, I installed the hard drive and connected the cameras, but it started showing an image on all 4 cameras, I did not had anny message to install stuff...
Dear Geek Street, I am having serious problems with the IPs and the cameras show whenever they want. I did the same (i.e. use dhcp and also tried static IP) but it doesn't work. Right now only one of my 8 cameras work. Mine is a Techage but as I see from your set up and the software all Chinese are the same. I cannot understand how can happen and when all cameras were ok and suddenly I am loosing one after another without changing anything at all?! Any ideas?
That's a weird one, have you tried unplugging all and pluging in one by one could there be a over lapse with the static and DHCP addresses as I had some issues once where there were clashes. You could turn off all the ip devices in your house and just have the CCTV system on and see what happens. Let me know how it goes.
I had done all that already. Today I took the NVR and two cameras (one faulty and one good) in another house(!) and plug it on power and HDMI on the screen. No network was connected. One camera was working the other one not. We changed IP, search for the cameras, play with all network settings, NOTHING! Still one camera was missing. I connected the camera on the PC and using a software the company supplied, I search for the IP of a faulty camera. Here is the video. ruclips.net/video/rSn3r-encp4/видео.html
What you've done here is incorrect in terms of testing. Your laptop should be connect to the router and your camera too.The router will provide the devices with an IP address.
Quick Question: On these types of systems with network access, do you HAVE to connect it to a network or can you use it as a stand alone DVR/Camera system?
I tried installing this today. The gateway is working but not the network. Not sure what the issue is. The bx is plugged directly into the router, which is working
Does it matter if my wifi connection is good?if my wifi doesn t work will the cameras not work?Sorry i m not good with this...maybe it s a silly question!... thx
With the HDD installed, will it constantly record? How does it know when to delete history? How many hours of recording will your 2 TB HDD hold? Thanks for the vid!
+A K no you can set it to record on motion detection. You can also set it to overwrite on full capacity and there is also an option to hold recordings for a set number of days. My 2TB drive holds about 3-4 months of recordings.
Hi, I've been trying to connect the network to my gateway but I have been unsuccessful. My IP is as followed and with my Subnet Mask, Primary and Secondary DNS. I've tried multiple times turning on the DHCP option. It says, 'Please click "Retry" to retest the network.. When ever I connect the gateway is not connecting. I have all my network options filled. Can you please help?
Geek Street+ Nice video, so the ethernet cord provides power to the cameras? thought you would show the remote access via your phone and what app would you use, thanks
+Andy Lee thanks for the comment. Your actually in luck I have another video which shows the different viewing options. Check it out ruclips.net/video/SHoYX8yFCWM/видео.html
Wow didnt even realize that ethernet could provide the power in that way just learned something new, i always only saw just dvr cams now theres nvr cam kits that seems way better
gratzy1989 any luck with your setup, mine is showing nothing on the tv screen, just “Mode Not Supported”. Starting to wonder if My is even an original system.
Good job for the illustration. i have a question, is it possible to connect this system to a wireless router?. I want to buy one but i don't have a wired connection at home
Anyone know how I can rotate the view of the camera? I got my camera number 2 mounted sideways on the wall, the view in the television is sideways. I want to change the orientation view.

Network cable goes to your modem then HDMI to your monitor/tv
You can connect it just go to settings on laptop and then connections and devices and hdmi port make it on in port not on out port if dont have that order a male usb cable and a adapter from male usb to old monitors computers and connect that one to the dvr and the other end of usb to laptop at soon you connected pop out on screen
i got this system and it already has the monitor build in on top of the box, do you have to have the hard drive to use this system? I did not order that. And do you have to connect to internet?
Sounds like you brought a completely different system!
@@GeekStreetSANNCE 4CH 1080N DVR 10.1'' Monitor 1080P Outdoor IR Home Security Camera System i only got 2 cameras with mine and i did not order the hard drive.
Why does my one camera that I connected with a 25m wire only works for 1 hours then says offline any ideas
Sounds faulty, that's not normal.
Geek Street swapped it over with another camera and it works perfectly fine so yes it was a faulty camera
Excellent thanks for letting me know.
Is this system any similar to those in Aliexpress im thinking of buying the kit one more thing, can you monitor the cameras from another network by an app. Can you access the hard drive from your phone?
Yes it's similar to those. You can monitor the cameras remotely but you can only access the data on the disk from the app not directly.
Geek Street thanks for the info

Hi.thank you very much.can I ask you question? Last couple of days my sannce cctv live is working but recording not working what is wrong please can you explain to me?
I had a issue like this and discovered the hard disk was faulty.
Geek Street oh.okey thank you again.i will find out. Thanks 👍👍👍👍

Geek Street thanks
I want to monitor an empty house 150 miles from where I live. What would be the minimum upload internet speed needed? It's either 17Mbp ADSL or 50Mbp cable where I want to use the CCTV. There's no internet there at present so I need to sort that first!
+Alvin Wyllie I have a 50mb download and 1mb upload and that's fine.
+Alvin Wyllie I have a 50mb download and 1mb upload and that's fine.
Right, many thanks!
Is this still working well after a few years?
Yea
@@GeekStreet hey man having issues with mine the cameras keeps turning off and on when I mess with the digital IP address.
Sometime the camera turn on and sometimes says no config offline turn back on and off and sometimes even stays off completely
hey i bought one but the cameras are black and have dual inputs i was wondering is a hard drive really needed or can i just use my 500gb flash drive on the back?
EL DESTROYER a hard disk is definitely required.
ok thanks i haven't opened it will i still be able to view through the cameras? im new to this camera securty stuff
Can I add more cameras to this setup with a PoE switch or will the 4ch box only support 4 cams?
Your welcome, don't forget to like and subscribe!
i just got mine today, i got a slightly different black camera model. it doesnt have the internet cables that go to each camera it has a double wire that leads to a octapus plug power source. my question is is the internet even needed for these? the internets basically just for cloud storage right?, and maybe power if it doesnt have the octopus power cable like mine. i tested it out and just hooked the cameras to the box and then hdmi to my tv and looks like it all works ok without internet. the damn things keep flashing into night mode to whenever i walk past them i hope it doesnt do this when i hook them up outside. i cant get it to stop. i dunno if its the motion detect, or turning from day to night mode on me because they are close to me and not outside yet.
it sounds like you didn't buy the poe (power over Internet) version this is more of a hassle as you need to ensure there if electricity near each camera installation. personally I'd return and get the poe version as gives more flexibility as you don't have to worry about the location and power source.
Excellent, as long as it works for you that's the main thing.
^^ I'll buy it
TheRobloxMinecrafter // NicTRM i got mine all setup now and wired. seems to be working pretty good. i replied to your other post if u want the name etc.
Hey when u had issues connecting to the network did u just have to enter your IP Address and then re test and it worked??
Yes just keep the trying and it will work.
did you buy the full HD 1080p one or 720p? I know your title says 1080P, but please confirm that for me, also would you recommend it?
Asim Sheikh yes I brought the full 1080p version. It's been around a year now and I'm very pleased with it and would definitely recommend it.
Thank you
Will this give better image quality than a AHD 1080p 2mp camera running on coaxal cable ?
I have the 4 channel one, 720P...But I have NO clue how to get the software onto my computer! Everything is hooked up, but nothing happens when I go to the xmeye website. What should I do?
+Kevin Phillips II if you want to connect to your home computer then go to a web browser and go to the IP address of the system.
Okay, but how do I download the software onto my computer? I was given a small disc that I can't use since it's smaller than a regular DVD or CD.
Kevin Phillips II if you connect to the recorder via a web browser you will get an option to download the software.
Do I use the ethernet cable to do that?
Yes
Geek street can i set this up without all that port forwarding stuff ?(I'm not into computers) > I'd just like a set up of this same system I've seen on Amazon and still be able to receive Email alerts hopefully without the need to do port forwarding.
Any advice would be would be appreciated.
Oh! Great video you've done as well.
This system uses cloud based login so no need to do any port forwarding.
@@GeekStreet thanks very much for your help G/S so no port forwarding to worry about.
(Again)Thank you my friend.
Your welcome buddy. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
will the cameras not turn on to be seen on the television if you do not install a hard disk.
Not sure about that, I'm guessing it would as the OS would load and have no where to save the recording.
Amazon was claiming that you could do it, it just of course does a view only and won't save anything.
I have just ordered an equivalent system, was just wondering what you did in the end with the cables at the camera end with regards to drilling holes etc?
I cut off the connector and drilled a small hole and then I fitted a new connector.
@@GeekStreet so I assume you then had the waterproof connector exposed outside or did you put that in a box
@@maxlandy7642 no need as the connector is waterproof.
@@GeekStreet I was thinking more for security so the cable cant be cut or unscrewed. . Thanks for the quick responses. Much appreciated
@@maxlandy7642 ah ok, then definitely put in a waterproof box.
What do you have to do to get it to connect to the internet because I have two similar sets and I can't connect them to the internet for some reason
You just get an ethernet cable and connect one end to you router and the other to the NVR.
Geek Street I tried that I get ether 50% to 100% packet loss and I can't connect to it
Packet loss? You might have a faulty cable.
Geek Street ive tried different cables..... My step-brother had gotten it to work before but he went to school to be an IT guy and now he's not here
Does the app still work? Mine no longer works remotely.
good video - thank you - just bought the system and all working ok.
The app may be down. Looks like other people are commenting on the App Store under reviews.
I have a question for you I got the same cameras but am not able to connect to the internet on 16:26 I Seen you had the same problem so how you get to work where it has all the gateway to work great video👍
Thanks for the comment, I flipped between dhcp and a fixed IP and just kept retrying and then eventually it worked!
hi mate im looking at buying this is it still working ? i currently running 2mp analog cameras and looking at upgrading to 2mp poe camera think i notice a difference
If you current system is 720p and to go over to a 1080p system you will notice a slight difference but if your current system is 1080p and new one is 1080p you won't notice anything, if that's the case then don't bother upgrading.
For it to work do you need to buy the hard drive or would it work with out the hard drive
It will work without a hard disk but you won't be able to record any footage.
Geek Street is 79$ good for a hard disc?
What size is the hard disk?
Geek Street 3.5 Toshiba
What's the capacity?
I'm bought system but it's not working at all does it have to be hooked to computer monitor or can I hook to tv

Can I set this system up with my iPhone and view it through my tv? Or do I have to have a desktop/laptop?
Yes you can setup on a iPhone, you could cast your iPhone onto the TV.
i got the annk one, looks the same as yours, but i got the power cable female come out from the camera, they said it is POE, but it got a power cable , i dont know what to do
+Jeff z that sounds strange, does it have an ethernet port?
So, I installed the hard drive and connected the cameras, but it started showing an image on all 4 cameras, I did not had anny message to install stuff...
how did you solve the gateway test failed problem? i have a similar setup but cant get the network to connect
I set the ip address up manually and did not use dhcp.
Can I set this up then turn my monitor of and use my tablet as my viewing screen ?
Yes you can do that.
Does this SANNCE cctv surport PTZ cameras
Option is there but I'm not aware of a compatible camera.
Have you got any ideas thanks
@@alangriffiths1432 i know hikvision is a better brand a bit more pricey, and their range would definitely have ptz cameras available.
Quick Question: On these types of systems with network access, do you HAVE to connect it to a network or can you use it as a stand alone DVR/Camera system?
Anthony Justus you don't have to connect it to your network you can run it standalone.
How do I get connected to the gate way I have a LAN lead going for my box to my Internet box
Plug in the Internet cable and ensure the recorder is on the same subnet....this can be configured on the initial setup.
I tried installing this today. The gateway is working but not the network. Not sure what the issue is. The bx is plugged directly into the router, which is working
Switch to static ip
The subscription is free or buy separate?
To you have to keep on checking on hard drive & delete ,how much dies it store,Thank you for your help
Leah Cara no you can set it up to automatically remove old files.
How long is the cable?
Does it matter if my wifi connection is good?if my wifi doesn t work will the cameras not work?Sorry i m not good with this...maybe it s a silly question!... thx
With the HDD installed, will it constantly record? How does it know when to delete history? How many hours of recording will your 2 TB HDD hold? Thanks for the vid!
+A K no you can set it to record on motion detection. You can also set it to overwrite on full capacity and there is also an option to hold recordings for a set number of days. My 2TB drive holds about 3-4 months of recordings.
Thanks for the reply! Is there a way to set it to always record? Or is that standard in surveillance systems?
A K no problem, by default it's set to always record you have to change to enable it to record on motion defect. Hope that helps.
Hi, I've been trying to connect the network to my gateway but I have been unsuccessful. My IP is as followed and with my Subnet Mask, Primary and Secondary DNS.
