RUclips decided to show me this video last week, which led me to three days of playing with SUNO. Then last night I spent hours playing with UDIO. I had no idea AI music had gotten this good. Thanks for posting this.
@@giftedepic SUNO is much easier for creating complete songs and piecing things together, but vocals will often sound a bit mechanical. UDIO is absolutely mind blowing - musicals, kids singing, spoken word, etc. but it takes many more "random" tries to get something good, and it is very limited when it comes to making longer parts - you basically add 33 seconds before or after the current segment, no specifying where to continue from like SUNO.
This if freaking crazy, I finally took a crack at it, the first song it made blew my mind, I had no idea there were so many types of music, I could picture all of my music being AI generated in the future
If you learn how to sing, you can just copy the good songs, I should try that but get myself a unique name and do it in secret so no one knows who I am
In the future they should add a feature that allows you to create a custom voice for the singer. That'll allow people to use the same voice for every song, and build a brand.
oh that is coming for sure. there are other much worse ai that allow you to train your own voice and put autotune on so when Suno does it, it will be crazy good.
Thank you good sir, I watched your video this morning and after generating three songs I’ve won my first Grammy! No seriously though this tech is RIDICULOUSLY useful for lyricists
I've been a playing instruments, playing shows, concerts etc. for most of my life but I've also waited forever for a music generator that actually works. That day is finally here! As a musician who also makes AI songs, I can honestly say that musicians have nothing to worry about!
I say this all the time. Ai is here. We either embrace it or get left behind. I find it so damn cool. It opens up limitless possibilities. Music is music, rice is rice. Someone still have to create it.
thanks for the great content, now i understand why Hollywood creators were on strike, this is just scary good....with this quality of music with few clicks and top it off with video to match, this is just going to take over so many jobs...i genuinely shocked by the output.
What a joy to have AI replace a lot of the boring parts of making music. For me making music has always been about finding those nuggets by listening for something cool. Same process with AI music creation but way faster. I'm having a blast right now!
Somthing that I would love to see and hear is that suno can generate prompt based on input audio files from my favorite songs so that I can replicate the style in future iterations
I was never really interested in AI, in any rate. But Suno really became a fun little experimental road into music for me. Just coming up with lyrics, and seeing if the AI can make a song out of it. Really fun, even just as a small hobby with no other outcome than learning stuff.
Exactly, as a video director, I wouldn't have to pay a musician anymore, but hey Sora is here... oh no ! Soon the only ones making money from music or video will be AI providers. Well done guys. Have fun, with all these toys !
If you were to enter lyrics of old famous public domain songs (like old Church hymns for example) that have very well known melodies, will Suno be influenced by the original song melody or will it create completely new music for those songs?
So I discovered this the other. I am writer and I decided to give it a try and paid for a pro. I wrote four songs and tried to see what it would do and it sounds interesting. I tried them in different genres. I notice it has hallucinations sometimes but this is what I am curious about... What data is it being trained on? I've been looking for an answer because I am curious as they have been tight lipped about it. In any case I think it would be great tool creatives.
I built this as a vertical video experiment - it came out pretty good! This is not the final release, but it is all artificially generated. I created the lyrics and plugged them into Suno. After almost 100 tries, I got one I liked. The video production involved multiple AI tools: Leonardo AI: Created the base characters Canva: Used for editing and background removal Hedra: Rendered the female character using the audio vocal stem file Gen3: Rendered the keyboard player The full song took 3 days to complete, with character renders and editing taking an additional 2 days. The final video was edited in Da Vinci Resolve. Total project time: 5 days start to finish. there's just no way to do that in 5 days without tools like suno although the song We'll have to go into a DAW to correct a few errors before release I found this the case in most songs produced by suno they're rarely perfect I don't know if I can do that here if not just delete my post there's a link ruclips.net/video/MmDMe6iOtcI/видео.html
Interesting how enthusiastic people are about this. For now it is "only" the end coming for many jobs in the creative industry. It also means that young people will abandon any thought about studying music or any kind of arts. These AIs will replace entry level jobs and therefore all opportunities for young artists to make at least some money. Yes, maybe some very creative artists with a lot of "old school" experience might be able to survive, but the well will dry out from the bottom. Further this will kill a very diverse industry consisting out of small enterprises and single artists and concentrate everything in one or two big companies. It's not the end of human art, but the end of professional human art. And the implications of that are vastly dreadful, because the majority of people will just eat what the machines feed them.
People in manufacturing went through the exact same thing due to automation and globalization . Jobs were outsourced to other countries and robots , your jobs are being outsourced to a machine . Welcome to the club . You’re not the first , just the latest . Btw … those manufacturing jobs were far more important to the health of the wests economies than the art jobs . Ya I said it .
@@eddiebrown192 I am not talking about a branch of jobs, but about human arts as a whole. Globalization and some outsourcing hasn't eliminated the need for engineers, doctors, lawyers etc. As an engineer, for instance, you could still stay in your business, maybe learn additional elements, work yourself into another branch of your expertise. And unemployment is at an all - time low in those jobs. But your comment about the "health" of societies shows where you're coming from and that you probably don't understand a thing about the importance of human arts beyond the fiscal meaning. The dripping sarcasm in some comments about musicians losing their already low-paid jobs - well, that's a part of being human I wouldn't mind giving up to AIs.
No, people who still want to study music will do so. Maybe a few less, but what it will more likely do is bring more people into feeling like they have created music. There will always be a market for music made by people and live performances because people feel a connection to artists. Art has already become commoditized before AI. Independent artists will still have the same role they have had. And mainstream professional artists will still be able to build a fanbase with talent and charisma (and marketing). It's also possible that this type of music creation service will make big companies take more risks creatively with music because formulaic music will be able to be made so easily. Very hard to say how this will all pan out. I saw that Stable Audio just came out with version 2.0 and they have a beta feature where you can beatbox into a mic, upload the file and have it generate beats, even baselines, etc. Pretty sick. It's called audio to audio. You can also take an instrument playing a certain loop, upload it and tell it to change out the instrument.
@@eddiebrown192 Outsourcing the manufacturing jobs didn’t serve the manufacturing workers, but the manufacturing companies. Same for the artists: outsourcing to AI won’t serve them, only the music producing companies, and even more the AI companies. And don’t get fooled: engineers and developers are the next ones on the AI’s replacement schedule.

Speaking about big musicians. Lets think about Michael Jackson. They might feed the AI with his music and then you can create new songs with his voice and style. Just like he never died. Or make his AI voice sing the lyrics from Taylor Swift. 😂

@Futurepedia, Can you please send Suno a special note to have a batch delete function for songs in the trash? I've been asking for ages because I have too many and can't go through all of them and delete each one permanently just to get to my latest ones in case I wanted to retrieve one.
As an artist, this does scare me, but im fully down to embrace this and experiment. This makes bigger projects i always wanted to do a bit easier. If anyone dabbles into multiple talents like me, then this and other ai products could benefit a from these
I've been playing with this, for over a week ,for me it is a useful tool, for sketching ideas, the difference, is, I am a musician and singer and have written and produced music, I perform live, this tool is a starting point, there are already tools that do most of this like band in a box. Here is my experience so far, the lyrics generated are cliché and pretty ropey, vocals are autotuned mush, BUT, if you can use a real DAW and are able to replace vocals, they are a reasonable guide, often the vocalisations are not how a singer would phrase, when you try to separate out the stems, is when you notice how mushy it is, so, to sum up, if you actually know what you are doing, very useful tool, otherwise, imho 95% of people will generate rubbish and get all excited.
Right now Suno is producing a boring static mix. Musically without complex events. For a good production, you would have to re-record it with good musicians and mix and master it correctly. Some of the basic compositions are very good.
Using Suno isn't "creating music" any more than ordering fillet mignon in a restaurant makes you a chef. The only exception is Suno's ability to utilize user-created lyrics.
You can use plenty of AI to generate lyrics Suno sings it So no human involvement The lyrics is AI generated The sound hitting your ears is AI generated
Suno V3 is absolutely awesome! I never thought I could produce such brilliantly good music. Some songs are definitely indistinguishable from professional productions.
@@sanderschat Yes, that is your limited view of things. You can just as easily say to a guitar player that he doesn't make music at all, he just moves his fingers.

I see it like fanfiction. as long as it's not monetized it won't really replace completely original music and there can still be effort put into it. just like fanfiction it has its place. and like how fanfiction can make you a better writer I think as someone who struggles with pin-pointing exactly how I want the music to sound this could help me learn to connect the idea of how it should sound with specifics. there's a sweet spot between ai creations need to be band and this is the future let's monetize it putting creatives out of a job.

In the future they should add a feature that allows you to create a custom voice for the singer. That'll allow people to use the same voice for every song, and build a brand.
oh that is coming for sure. there are other much worse ai that allow you to train your own voice and put autotune on so when Suno does it, it will be crazy good.
Another youtuber (Bob Doyle) showed how to do this using Replay, but it's not as simple as what you wanted.
I'm sure once OAI releases their voice clone this will happen. Clone your voice and sing any song you want.

Somthing that I would love to see and hear is that suno can generate prompt based on input audio files from my favorite songs so that I can replicate the style in future iterations
That would be great. Honestly, I have a huge list of features I'd love to see
I think the biggest issue with that will be copyright but time will tell
I was never really interested in AI, in any rate. But Suno really became a fun little experimental road into music for me. Just coming up with lyrics, and seeing if the AI can make a song out of it. Really fun, even just as a small hobby with no other outcome than learning stuff.

Well done guys.
Have fun, with all these toys !
If you were to enter lyrics of old famous public domain songs (like old Church hymns for example) that have very well known melodies, will Suno be influenced by the original song melody or will it create completely new music for those songs?
Completely new, in my experience. But just try it yourself! 🙂
I love how fast our humanity is being stripped from us.
The video production involved multiple AI tools:
Leonardo AI: Created the base characters
Canva: Used for editing and background removal
Hedra: Rendered the female character using the audio vocal stem file
Gen3: Rendered the keyboard player
The full song took 3 days to complete, with character renders and editing taking an additional 2 days.

Outsourcing the manufacturing jobs didn’t serve the manufacturing workers, but the manufacturing companies.
Same for the artists: outsourcing to AI won’t serve them, only the music producing companies, and even more the AI companies.

Great for Producing Music for your own lyrics, you can decide genre, style, pitch, tone etc to match the essence of your words.
The songs "Can you not see" and "Daughter of Lilith" are completely amazing. Listen to them!
Right now Suno is producing a boring static mix. Musically without complex events. For a good production, you would have to re-record it with good musicians and mix and master it correctly. Some of the basic compositions are very good.
Well, anything to save your job
