Maintenance of gravel road with MeriCrusher and MeriPacker

In this video shown maintenance of gravel road with MeriCrusher method. All the work phases are done with 1 tractor and 1 operator. Idea is to maintain the surface of the road and crush the stones smaller in size and create 8-15 big stone free maintenance layer to the road so that annual maintenance with graders is easier.
Benefits of this method are following:
- Cost saving It all can be done by one normal size 220-300hp tractor.
- It fixes the holes in the road properly, because the crushing is done deeper than the bottom of the holes.
-Annual maintaining with grader is faster and giving better result because needed maintenance layer is in the road.
- It saves environment no need to crush and gravel and transport it long distances on the road.
Work phases in the video.
1. Opening of the road and crushing of the stones with MeriCrusher to a depth 8-15cm
2. Compacting of the road with MeriPacker vibrating plate.
3. Leveling and straightening of the road with tractor mounted grader.
4. Final compacting of the road surface with MeriPacker.
