Well, Painter identified him very early and got an early commitment from him. So it's very possible a lot has changed with the kid over the last few years.
Brian love your rants/ramblings. You r my new Clis for Purdue Basketball since we now live in Arkansas. Keep up the great work and eat right (no sugar or oil seed oils) to maintain your health!!!
I had said before that he gets A LOT of technicals and seems to enjoy taunting opponents after dunks or big plays. There's a ton of people who have experience with him said that he's someone who needs to be told what he wants to hear. While he's talented I don't see it as a loss in the long run as we have a great culture and atmosphere. I think Colvin and Heidi both are going to have a breakout seasons and Harris, Cox, and Jacobsen will make needed contributions.
I think his point of "day 1 of practice vs day 30 of practice" is a good way to look at it. By day 30, we MAY be talking a lot about Berg. Or not. Can't wait to see how the fall plays out.
I feel like many people have written off Will Berg and it's so crazy to me. He's solid. That being said... Daniel Jacobson is really making an argument for himself on the 18U USA team.
All players are always working out and working on their game. If you mean, is he power lifting? Players lift year round. Some players are just not as easily able to put on mass. It’s nature.
A real Purdue fan just has to love Brian Neubert!
Yeah, agree. Brian is a very knowledgeable, likable guy !!
It’s a little mind boggling that Paint would recruit him to begin with if he wasn’t the type of player Paint preaches about wanting for the team.
These are kids so maybe he had some hope he would mature some more.

Talent
@@TaterologyI agree that this is the most likely explanation. Life happens.

Benter too... Just wait!

No mention of Wil Berg ?
It does not fit their narrative. They have made up their mind. Maybe Painter reports to them

@@NDHURLER55 thank you.
Can you guys report if Loyer is working out?

I suspect more scenarios like this are coming. Going to class may be dead in college basketball - at least for Division I.
Come pick me up mommy, I don’t like it here. Get me a pop and some chips and some gummy bears while you’re at it. Hollywood Romeo Langford weak sauce.
