Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Without a doubt, the best Batman figure ever made. I hope they keep doing more realistic ones like this. I can't stop posing it.
The smooth texture on the cowl is how it's supposed to be. That's how it is in the movie. That weird bumpy leather is inaccurate.

I don't collect figures, but that is an amazing one. I love the "Dark Knight Returns" style Bat logo and costume. May have to pick this up.

I have a couple of the Mezco DKR Batman figs, and they are killer, but this one looks even better (and I'm not usually a fan of movie figures). I just love the way they did the bat symbol on his chest. That's the way it should be done. It reminds me of the Playarts DKR Batman.
If Mezco ever does a Neal Adams/Marshall Rogers style Batman I'll be all over it.

cameras don't do this figure justice, you really need to have this in hand before judging it because I've yet to see one video/picture that actually captures how it actually looks. By far the best looking BVS Batfleck figure available.

...I'm quite happy with my MAFEX Batman. There's a lot to like on this one, but there are also a few things that bother me a lot, like the difference in texture in the cowl and the gloves, the too-bulky thighs, the shape of the cape and that fact that isn't tattered, the shape the costume takes in certain poses, the difficulty of posing the cape... but it still looks very good. I guess I'll wait and see how Superman turns out to make up my mind

I like what Mezco is doing in this series. I was really into the Judge Dredd One:12 but yea they're pretty expensive and I'd only get it if I got the motorcycle with it which is even more expensive and I'm not a high end collector by any means. Awesome Batman though, f'sho!
Hey @Shartimusprime I've waited patiently for you to review this Mezco Batfleck. Especially after viewing your Mafex version. In my opinion this Mezco blew the Mafex out of the water lls. Anywho great review brother keep up the excellent work you do! you and the Late Great Glenn Webb have inspired my to get back into my collecting as of early last year. Oh yeah one more thing please tell me you're gonna grab the sh figuarts TMNT figs. I really wanna hear your opinion on those guys I think they're awsome probably the best TMNT 6" scale figs ever made next to the 08 neca figs.
Mr. Gross I think at one video he said he cancelled his preorders on those figures, implying he wasn't gonna get the SHF TMNT. I could be wrong tho

got both the mezco and mafex. I do like the mezco except the proportion when it is next to all my SHFs and other mafex. overall the mafex scale much better than mezco. the mezco is great by itself, but in the 12:48 comparison to hot toys you can see how the body proportion is too wide. the right arm on my mezco is loose which is my only complaint quality wise.
