When I do the same my file goes from 2.9Gb to 2.5gb only. What am I doing wrong? :(

Some files can't be compressed for various reasons etc. They are all different.

I'm trying to reduce a file that's 6mb and it only brings it down 4.8.

It might have larger graphics that it can't compress. Usually though you can get a much smaller file than that.
