      Xi Jinping, “Power Must be Caged by the System, Qiushi, January 22, 2013:
      “We should continue to catch “tigers” as well as “flies” when dealing with cases of leading officials in violation of Party discipline and state laws as well as misconduct and corruption problems that directly affect the people’s interests. All are equal before the law and Party discipline; whoever is involved in a corruption case must be thoroughly and impartially investigated.”

    You power calculation is a little of. Your input voltage (5V) times the shown amperage is the true Wattage for the load + the voltage converter.
    So if you crank the output voltage up to let's say 15V and the amperage show is 300mA, the total power consumed is still 5V × 300mA = 1.5W and not 15V × 300mA = 4.5W. The current through the load (when neglecting the current used by the converter) is 300mA × 5V / 15V = 100mA. So the power dissipated by the load is 15V × 100mA = 1.5W. This is according the input voltage (5V) × input current (300mA) = 1.5W.

      @josuedanielmartinezsanchez4540 9 дней назад

      You are so wrong. if output shows 15v 300ma that means 4.5w (p=v.i) .. it means input its 5x900ma=4.5w.. watts are same input and output.. energy cannot be created or destroyed, but only changed from one form into another or transferred from one body to another.

    • @jansmit4628
      @jansmit4628 9 дней назад

      @@josuedanielmartinezsanchez4540 Exactly my point. The current reading was at the 5V input, so 5V × 300mA = 1.5W. And yes, energy on the input should be equal to the one at the output. When the measured output voltage is 15V, the current through the load (which was not measured in the video) should be 1.5W / 15V = 100mA.

    • @jansmit4628
      @jansmit4628 9 дней назад

      @@josuedanielmartinezsanchez4540 Hacktuber measured the current at the 5V USB side and not on the load side, but multiplied the input current by the output voltage. This is not correct. You are correct that the power on the input should be equal to the power at the output. With 5V, 300mA at the input, the output current at 15V should be 100mA.

    I am a beginner working with electrical modules so your RUclips videos have been very helpful and informative getting me started. I also teach at a Juvenile Detention Center some young men who have not had good family relationships and many of your projects are on my schedule to show them so they learn a little about soldering and components. Keep up the good work and I will keep watching so I can get more ideas on what I can learn and pass on to others!

    Put a multimeter in series with the output load so we know output current. Output and input currents are not the same, when you multiplied output voltage by input current you got a meaningless power. Measure both currents and we can see input power, output power, and efficiency by dividing output by input power.

    Nice device but low amperage!
    Assuming 100% conversion at 10 V your 2 2A would become 1.1 amp & 20V. will be 550 mA.
    But we lose about 15% in the buck conversion.
    We can still have a decent trickle charge at about 400 mA - 450 mA.
    Not bad for a buck 👍
