When I was a kid in the 50s, we would visit the Texas in the basement of the Cyclorama at the Atlanta Zoo. I have home movies made in the 1960s when The General toured the country during the Centennial of the Civil War.

I was taught by Gordon's father. He's legacy. So awesome. His father, Dr. Jones, was the inspiration behind the movies about Indiana Jones. Incredible family. Gordon's father was one of my best professors. As an undergrad, Dr. Jones loved the South Asia area and would have us over to his house to taste Indian Food his wife made. He is the reason why I fell in love with History and led me to the path of discoveries I made in Egypt at Tanis. So...now you know the rest of the story.

I was born and raised in East Texas I've been to the Old Fort Parker The Fort was the site of a well-known Comanche Indian raid in May 1836, in which the Comanche captured 12-year old Cynthia Ann Parker.... To the Confederate reunion grounds and Cemetery located there in Mexia Texas.... To the Caddo Indian burial mounds....I've been to Lookout Mountain Chattanooga... And few other places.... But I would Love to see that Bonnie Blue flag Locomotive there in person....I am so Jealous.....😂🤣
