Hi Sarah. Hoping you can point me in the right direction for a remedy for burning feet and ankle pain due to pronation. I'm 73 years young, healthy, and walk 30 minutes in the morning back and forth in the house. A podiatrist told me I had the worst flat feet he'd ever seen. His office sold some special shoes with arch support. Had to return them the next day when I could barely walk due to the pain where my arch would be if I had one. I currently wear Othofeet shoes which are comfortable to walk in. But, after a little while on my feet, they are really burning and the ankle pain (I'm guessing from the pronation) is so bad, I have to get off my feet. Another podiatrist recommended custom orthotics which would have cost over $1,500 so I declined. Any recommendations for either a solution or a different shoe? Thank you in advance.
Hi Tony, I recently did a review on a shoe from a company called Kuru located in the U.S. Check out my video and click the link in the description box for their website. Their shoes treat many foot conditions and they have heat mouldable insoles that can be removed if needed. Unfortunately I don’t have a fix it solution for your foot issue but l can suggest that you give Kuru a try. If you purchase a shoe from them and your not happy they are great with returns. If you try them out let me know what you think by leaving a comment on the video “Kuru Shoe Review” Good Luck Tony!!
Gentle and loving care .
