We, so called modern people do even think twice while criticizing our prophets, Saints & Gurus but we must know that they were so much realized & elevated souls that we can not even imagine. Keeping long hair is being obedient to Almighty Lord & in sync with nature, which is an other form of God. The entire world is going towards the ultimate destruction today, due to so called development scientific inventions. It is we who have gone away from nature & invited so much of destruction.

The happiest i ever felt was when my bibi told me stories of Guru Gobind singh ji or when i firing my bow and arrow. Whenever i went to the barbers i always felt uncomfortable and i never knew why. I never knew what these feelings were or why i felt them Ive drank. Ive smoked. Ive lied and spoke in anger. Even through this i would always help innocent people and that made me happy in my sorrow. The emptyness in me was Waheguru missing and i have taken time off work to learn punjabi and sikhi properly. It is never too late and focus on the best parts of yourself and youll find Guru Gobind at your side like a father.

I’m atheist. If I ever chose to be part of organized religion again it will be Sikh. I only hope people are not choosing this to “stand out” in appearance, but rather in earnestness and desire to seek their own and help others find happiness and peace.
It is very upsetting read the comments of various people & their counter attacks on each other's religions. Basically all religions are good, no religion teaches hatred or racism. I wonder about the education & upbringing of those ones, who have the guts to abuse & criticize our Gurus & Prophet Mohammad! By doing so they are not harming any one else but exposing their own roots & upbringing. For God sake, try to appreciate the uniqueness of others cultures & faiths instead of such attacks.

I dont agree. It is sad but the era of Bhagat Singh, Madanlal Dhingra, Udham Singh has gone into history. Todays Sikhs dont consider India as their country. For them only Punjab is country and not rest of India. Manmohan Singh and Sidhu represent todays and next generation Sikhs. They are Pak sympathizers and take pride in migrating to west.

Being a Sikh you belong to a perpetual tradition of material and immaterial or ethereal laws of universe that perpetuate by themselves into one system, where the law of cause and effect, the very law of science prevails and you, being a Sikh, follows it by choice to serve and to be part of the universe whole. This is what Gurbani opens, explores, expounds. To understand and to follow those very laws of universe one becomes Sikh and then devotes the whole life to it.

1984 was a tough time. I can't say I agreed with everything that happened. Remember, Sikhs in the Army were part of the force that were a part of Operation Bluestar. Bhinderwale's mandate ended pretty quickly. There are so many events and incidents we will never know about...but...I'm glad that era is over. It was stressful. I lost my best friend on Flight 182. He was a Hindu. Understand history, but do not claim to know everything. People can suss out a liar or story teller pretty easy

I dont agree. It is sad but the era of Bhagat Singh, Madanlal Dhingra, Udham Singh has gone into history. Todays Sikhs dont consider India as their country. For them only Punjab is country and not rest of India. Manmohan Singh and Sidhu represent todays and next generation Sikhs. They are Pak sympathizers and take pride in migrating to west.

It is true. 1984 was a tough time. I can't say I agreed with everything that happened. Remember, Sikhs in the Army were part of the force that were a part of Operation Bluestar. Bhinderwale's mandate ended pretty quickly. There are so many events and incidents we will never know about...but...I'm glad that era is over. It was stressful. I lost my best friend on Flight 182. He was a Hindu.
